Dunkle Nacht Piano ist das Thema einer Musikreihe in loser Folge.

Musikalische Zwiegespräche eines Komponisten mit seinem Piano in der Nacht.
Den erst in den stillen Stunden der Nacht findet er Ruhe um seinen Klangträumen zu begegnen. 

Mit diesem Titel wird das Dunkle das Nichts durchdringende Schwarz, die Verlorenheit im Nichts klanglich vom einsamen Pianisten eingefangen.

Dark Night Piano is the subject of a music series in loose succession.

Musical dialogues of a composer with his piano at night.
Only in the quiet hours of the night does he find peace to meet his sound dreams.

With this title, the darkness, the blackness that penetrates nothing, the lostness in nothingness is captured sonically by the lonely pianist.

A Long Time Coming

First demo of the Orion synthesizer plugin for the Scope DSP platform.

Sinepad

This is the oldest tune in the Broken Road archive and the only song that ever featured a cowbell!!! Recorded sometime in 1974 (you do the math!) in Broken Road’s Rio Del Mar rehearsal basement. Rescued from an ancient 1/4 track tape, the “Funk That Stunk” was a silly little song that we played because we thought people might be able to dance to it. The lyrics were always made up on the fly for every performance and were usually pretty non-sensical and silly as a result.
Featuring the original “Soquel High” Broken Road lineup:
Evan Jiles, age 16, on bass
Otis Coen, age 17, on Wurlitzer piano
Doug Thigpen, age 17 on drums
Jon Jiles, age 19, guitar and vocal
Luis Villareal was the old guy (in his 20’s) on Congas and Cowbell.
