Nana Nana Nana Nana DENDE!

Using Celemony Melodyne's DNA feature, I was able to remove the vocals from the Beatles acetate demo "One and One is Two". I was then able to isolate the vocals as well, and so I decided to try my hand at making a stereo mix of the song.
[TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN STARTS HERE] 
The vocals are mixed in stereo with the instrumentation, however, I was not able to get a very good result separating the high and low guitar with Melodyne. As a result, I was forced to duplicate the guitar track and run a high pass filter on one, a low pass filter on the other, and then pan those out accordingly. This technique is called "Duophonic Stereo" and is considered cheap and lazy, but I had no other option. All of the above play over the untouched original track, and the result is very rich and full-sounding, despite a few errors that cannot be remedied.

I had an idea to make a simple mod for Portal, that would replace all of GlaDOS's audio clips with GlaDOS-ified clips of Tommy Wiseau. I have no idea if this mod will come to fruition, but decided to quickly whip up a sampler of what that might sound like. All I did was rip the audio of a YouTube compilation of the best parts of "The Room", cut everything but Tommy's lines, and ran it through Melodyne.

I've had this song stuck in my head for a few days, and there's a home demo of it that I adore. That in mind, I decided to give said demo a little love. I ran a couple layers of Noise Reduction on it (the result was astounding), isolated the vocals, split the guitar and panned it a bit. 
I added some reverb to the vocals, then, just for kicks, I decided to see if the reverse engineered vocals could be used to make a decent harmony. To my surprise, they could! Whereas creating 3 part harmony started to make some artifacts noticeable, if I stuck to 2-part and made it subtle, it sounds rather pleasant in my opinion.

If I Fell (Home Demo) Restore

On the same vein as YoLost Woods, here is another Ocarina of Time track I re-created. This one is Gerudo Valley, with my own voice saying "Stupid" as rhythm guitar and "Dumb" as the lead. Percussion is a loop of me drumming the edge of the table with butter knives.
This took for 3:20 P.M. to 12:20 AM, with only a 1.5 hour break in there somewhere.
