This track is a heartfelt homage to Dancy’s grandfather, who was an old construction worker. He would often sing his own rendition of the old Swedish song "Observe Our Shadow" to her (Fredmans Epistel nr 81). As a child, Dancy found comfort and wisdom in his voice, a bittersweet lullaby that spoke of life’s fleeting moments and the inevitability of time. In this version, we capture the essence of those evenings, where the weight of the world seemed to fade with each verse he sang. This song is not just a memory, but a bridge between generations, reflecting on the struggles, the love, and the enduring spirit of family.
