Dov1 is one of pioneers of bass music in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a producer his sounds are rooted in heavy bass and a blending digital and organic textures. Previously reviewed and featured by iDJ, Mixmag, URB and a wide range of quality publications, and his work at the root level of the Bay Area music scene makes his influence is felt from the underground upwards. 

As founder & owner of Muti Music he develops a large amount of talent and curates the sound of a lot of the music coming out of the US west coast bass music scenes. He recently also launched the new sub-labels to Muti Music, Medicine (with An-ten-nae) and Producer Dojo (with ill.Gates) and in the past has also managed and curated talent at Cyberset, Earthdance, EyePhunk and Fuel Records.  
Dov1 has rocked dance floors alongside many luminaries of Dance culture including Diplo, Bassnectar, Opiuo, ill.Gates, Gasslamp Killer, Excision, Eprom, Tipper, Freq Nasty, Zeds Dead to name a few. His diversity has also allowed him to hold it down in unusual situations like opening for Ferry Corsten, Boy George, Shpongle and even playing alongside and jamming with Shafqat Ali Khan.

Dov1 also produces under the name DnA with An-ten-nae, and has also produced collaborative tunes with ill.Gates, HNGVR, Hooves and Funk Monsta.

Savej returns to Gravitas Recordings on July 14th with his ancient future sound and a new tribal genre-bending track to share with the world. This single is the first glimpse into Savej’s massive album, featuring a wide variety of legends in the scene and the powerful Savej sound.  Yarnana features long-time Gravitas artist Lil Fish, and is the first collaboration between these two.  A powerful single that will become a new staple on his discography, we are very excited about this special collaboration and full upcoming album.

“For this album, each track dives into a different cultural vocal context while maintaining a unified musical thread. Each culture whose vocals/chants were used has a longstanding spiritual or shamanic tradition, many of which seem to have a common point of origin deep in prehistory. Yarnana opens with organic textures and ethnic instruments, immediately transporting us into the distinct Savej sound bending through cultures and ancient sounds.  An epic build into a heavy sub bass and female Albanian chants, perfectly blending the Savej sound with Lil Fish’s epic horns and chords. More earth-centric sounds and foley fill the soundscape and Another epic addition to the Savej discography with a beautiful spin on his classic style.
