My live set from the annual Moontribe New Years Day Vibe party, hosted by Subtract and Moonkitty. This is a groovy mix of bass music, dnb, ending with some breaks, UKG, and bass house that I played for some of my favorite freaks . . . always a treat to play at this lively event!

Music to instill a sense of wonder and beauty in our world.  Music Ive always wanted to hear on a big rig soundsystem at the foothills of the Sierra Mountains.  Truly an honor to grace this space with noise.  Some absolute gems were picked for this sonic soundscape that never in over 10 years would I have thought they would be heard outside the bedroom.

Revel Festival (https://soundcloud.com/revelfest) is an incredible boutique festival, nestled between mountains, beside the Silmikinmen River. This was Revel's 4th year and Löblová's 3rd year attending and playing for this special crowd of seasoned festival goers.

Always such an honour to play and expand my djing style and genre repertoire.  This year, the inspiration goes towards UKG and breakbeat. The energy from the music, the nature and the enthusiastic crowd was pure magic.

A North-Westcoast fixture - Leland River is a DJ/Producer whose genesis as an artist
and human being is deeply tied to the mycelial webs of the BC festival scene.
Trusted by many of his peers and listeners for his diverse array of productions, mixes,
and adept sense for playing the right music at the right time; Leland River has been
given the controls at Bass Coast, Envision, CampQ, and Shambhala for 14 years in a
row.
From a love of hypnotizing rhythms and the low-end of dubstep, garage, grime, breaks,
dancehall, jungle and techno; mixed with a disposition for emotive ambience and a
love for R&B - Leland River’s music and DJ sets fit better inside a vast large venn
diagram than a box.
As the co-founder and creative director of INIT Festival, Leland River has helped bridge
his love for music curation with a wealth of festival experience to help produce one of
BC’s freshest and most ambitious underground electronic music festivals.
Between INIT Festival, releasing music on his label Eargot and DJing - Leland River will
be a busy man moving forward into 2026 and beyond.

It's been 8 years since I released the last volume of When the Smoke Clears. Different genre this time around but same idea; the last set at The Mogul Smoker. 
Sam and I took the year off from throwing the Smoker this year but a couple friends continued the Fernie tradition and had me play the last set of the night. 

It was at 4am so I couldn't go too chill, and this is what I came up with. Enjoy!

Your Special Day is a prettier / softer offering from Dov1, based around one sonic template, that evolves into different interpretations, starting with some emotional melodies, moving into lighter and more uplifting vibes on YSD2 and the remix by HNGVR and moving into the deep emotional journey of the Hypha remix and back into the light for ‘Shine Bright’.
The pads and arpeggiated synths are hooks that ground the tunes throughout the mixes and make some light and easy listening.
