This project “Chimurenga” holds true to its name meaning, “The People’s Struggle” which is a Shona-Bantu word from regions in Afrika such as Zimbabwe. It represents that everyone who is able in the nation, from the youngest to the eldest, struggles for truths and rights and the progress of the nation as a people. This is why we want to livicate these works to the I-vine Creator of all substance and to our forefathers and foremothers throughout all the ages who have struggled for our liberation selflessly to establish equal rights and justice which is endowd, by life, to all and not some. Give thanks to all who I-tributed to this project and helped to make it possible. We hope this may inspire you to make a progressive change in your life today.

MARK WONDER, nascido em Kingston, Jamaica como Mark Andrew Thompson, é um verdadeiro talento da ilha caribenha. Apesar da limitada safra de cantores da linhagem Roots na Jamaica hoje em dia, Mark Wonder se destaca como uma força musical abençoada com um raro talento. Sua contagiante e poderosa voz o coloca entre os grandes artistas e compositores que representam a música jamaicana atual.
Suas criações musicais agradam a todos, já que suas letras têm um apelo universal, seja entoando louvores ao Altíssimo ou cantando músicas de protesto e de cunho social. Suas alegres melodias e suas cativantes canções de amor evidenciam sua qualidade e dinamismo que tiram o fôlego de quem tiver a oportunidade de escutar suas músicas. Suas influências vem de grandes artistas como Curtis Mayfield & the Impressions, Sam Cooke,  Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald e Stevie Wonder, assim como de conterrâneos como Burning Spear, the Wailers, Bob Andy, Black Uhuru, Barrington Levy, Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, the Abyssinians, Israel Vibration e Dennis Brown.

Black Scorpio e com o passar dos anos de experiência, Mark Wonder consolidou um estilo único de cantar e hoje acumula diversas produções de nível internacional com diversos artistas de renome como Luciano, Gentleman, Capleton e Sizzla pelos selos internacionais como Al.TA.FA.AN Records, Addis Records, Bobby Digital, Irie Ites, Oneness Records e agora também com a produtora brasileira internacional Unidade 76 Records. A mídia local e internacional o colocam como o novo sucessor do estilo Roots jamaicano e os públicos locais, dos E.U.A. e da Europa, descrevem suas performances como eletrizantes.
Mark  já gravou diversos álbuns como "Signs of the Times", "Jeremiah", "Break the Ice", "Live at the Couple", "Victory: The Mystery Unfolds", "True Stories of Mark Wonder and Friends" e seu último lançamento "Working Wonders" de 2012.
Em 2013 Mark Wonder deu início a uma parceria com a produtora brasileira Unidade 76 Records, produtora esta que vem também se destacando internacionalmente pela excelência em suas produções musicais. Esta nova parceria continental apresenta o novo sucesso "Just as Before" gravado no Riddim "Cards on the Table", uma produção musical exclusivamente nacional com a presença de renomados músicos da cena Reggae brasiliense. O videoclipe foi a concretização dessa conexão com imagens feitas em Brasília, capital do Brasil e em Kingston, capital da Jamaica, que contou também com o apoio da Oneness Records.

D.O.V.E. Muzik [Development of Vital Energies Muzik] is a Chicago Reggae Recording Label, Studio & the name of our Live Band. D.O.V.E. Muzik was founded by Tzaddi Wadadah-I circa 1983. Presently D.O.V.E. Muzik is led by Tzaddi Wadadah-II the son of on it's musical mission to create VITAL ENERGY in music for the edification of people all over the earth in need of vital energy. D.O.V.E. Muzik features vocal recording artists such as Nego Hights, Princess KazaYah, Ras I-dre, Ras Arcane, Tzaddi Wadadah-I, Wadadah-II. Our featured musicians are Ras Rahpre, Ras Shango, Ras Mandingo, Chainsaw and I X who have played together for over 25 years. 
   First of our vocal artists we have Princess KazaYah with the voice of an angel mesmerizing us with soothing sounds & harmonies causing automatic “feel good” vibrations and thought provoking meditations. Her music is one of a kind and is a blend of RnB, Gospel, Roots-Reggae, Lovers Rock & Dub.
   Next is Ras I-dre singing with vigorous flow and sweet melodies bringing an array of dynamic lyrics to our ears and not to mention good vibes to make you move through his music. With Ras I-Dre’s deep history in the dance halls of Kingston Jamaica his music is heavily influenced by Dancehall-Reggae and Roots-Reggae genres.
   Ras Arcane on the other hand is a breath of fresh air with his fusion of Hip Hop, EDM & Reggae styles leaving you in awe and wanting more. Ras Arcane’s lyrical flows will have you listening very keenly to his voice. His delivery is impeccable.
   Nego Hights “the Warrior” chanting with high energy and truth on his tongue and as his mission to remind all of us of the upright living [livity] required of us for the benefit of all human kind. His messages are potent with information that brings awareness to all our surroundings. Not to mention his fiery warrior style blended with the Reggae & Dancehall genres.
   Tzaddi Wadadah-I aka “Fatha T” the elder and original founder of D.O.V.E. Muzik brings forth the true vibes of the original reggae from the foundation, the King's music, which is missing today in many aspects. Fatha T has been very active in reggae music since the late 1970’s. Being one who has hosted shows with the likes  Burning Spear, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs and more is a veteran of Reggae music and a Chicago Reggae icon. He is helping to mold a future for the upcoming youths of D.O.V.E Muzik’s label and is manager of the band. 
   Finally Wadadah-II as the leader, dub organizer, as well as DJ and engineer/producer of D.O.V.E. Muzik’s label, he draws his inspiration from the Almighty Jah to empower and word his singing. Wadadah-II adds a very spiritual element to the group on a whole through the music. Roots Reggae & Dub Reggae as well as Nyahbinghi chanting is what Wadadah-II manifests. 
   The first song published by D.O.V.E. Muzik’s record label was "Sentimental Girl" written by the True Democracy reggae band circa 1986. D.O.V.E. Muzik has now in the 21st century published locally & globally music for Nego Hights, Princess Kazayah, Ras I-Dre, Ras Arcane, Brando, Antonio Reid, Ganja Baby Productions, Tzaddi Wadadah I & more. Withmore works always on the horizon be prepared for D.O.V.E. Muzik's vital energy to come and scoop you up on a vibes train with the music so necessarily needed in this day & time, also for the on coming generations.
   The D.O.V.E. Muzik family recently debuted our live band for the first in Chicago November the 24th at the reggae capital of the midwest, The Wild Hare. Following that D.O.V.E.
