Dover (real name Daniel Douer) is an electronic music DJ and producer from São Paulo, Brazil.

Hailed as one of Brazil’s biggest electronic artists, Dover is best known for putting out addictive beats and electronic remixes that spread like wildfire. From Brazil to Uruguay and the US, the DJ has performed at top clubs and stages around the world — his biggest show to date being São Paulo’s “Bota Fora” festival, where he played for ten thousand people.

In 2018, when he was just 16 years old, Dover’s first record (‘Dover & Vino - Hydra’) was released under Revealed Recordings. The track racked up hundreds of thousands of plays and was supported by huge artists including Hardwell, R3SPAWN, TWIIG, REGGIO, Club Banditz and Juicy M. Since then, Dover has released a number of catchy club singles such as ‘Inside My Head’ (2019), ‘Run Away’ and ‘Born to Be Free’ (2020), as well as his 2018 EP ‘BIG ROOM DOVER’ which received thousands of plays on Soundcloud.

Originally from São Paulo, Dover didn’t grow up with any particular interest in music. He typically listened to Brazilian songs that friends or family would recommend. But in 2012, hearing Avicii’s “Levels” for the first time opened his world up to electronic music. The Brazilian DJ credits the late Avicii for inspiring his music career: “When I heard that song, my life changed. I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I started listening electronic music all the time. At 13 years old, I began learning how to DJ and produce electronic music.”
Along with Avicii, Dover also finds inspiration in artists like Vintage Culture and Martin Garrix. Speaking of his creative process, the Miami-based electronic DJ says: “Music is the universal language. Through music, I’m able to share my feelings and perspective with people, and maybe even change someone’s life.”
