Carlos Pineda’s upcoming EP Azaroso, releasing on Black Lizard, is a vibrant expression of his Latin identity, featuring two powerful tracks: Azaroso and Din Dada. Both tracks were produced in Nicaragua just weeks before Carlos emigrated, giving the EP a deep sentimental value.

Azaroso captures the essence of Latin rhythms and slang, with an organic blend of bass, kick, and Carlos’s voice, a first for him. The track has already gained support from Cloonee, Eddy M, and Syreeta, and has been played at top Ibiza venues like Ushuaïa and Music On. For Carlos, Azaroso holds special meaning, as the phrase is deeply tied to Puerto Rican slang and his Latin roots.

Din Dada is a tribute to Carlos's childhood love for old-school hip-hop and reggaeton. After discovering a nostalgic sampler, he created this energetic, aggressive track, blending it seamlessly with his signature style.
