This track was the result of a workshop at Ableton’s Pasadena headquarters just a week or so after the Eaton fire was contained. The air was still heavy and acrid, and recent political events were depressing and enraging. But I had a creative community at the workshop, and making this track alongside them returned me to the things that matter most. The sounds of Pasadena that week are all over this track: people in cafes in the morning and bars at night, my colleagues discussing ideas and chatting, the sounds of the street, and above all the sound of the automated crosswalk declaring “WAIT”. I took it as a reminder that all things pass. And as a reminder to take a moment to be in the moment. There will be better days. Take a breath. Wait.

Moments unfold like silent equations written in light, where thought dissolves into movement and consciousness becomes the only constant. Beneath the shifting patterns of existence, each rhythm hides a silent intelligence, an invisible pulse that underpins all form. Within this motionless geometry of being, time stops moving, revealing the symmetry between presence, patience, and the infinite unfolding of the now.
