Paris local Marcelo Cura partners up with Origins of Time to create a breathtaking EP aptly titled ‘Dunes’. The title track lays down a bumpy path of hardened kicks and snappy percussion, creating a rolling energy as the pads rise and the soul of the track is teased and eventually revealed. Next the collaborators bring us ‘Ouhou’. This one follows the same framework as laid out by ‘Dunes’, and rightly so. A firm kick with a flow against sharp percussives maintains a constant pressure as the track opens. ‘Ouhou’ then plays its strings elegantly against the desert soundscape, bringing the track to life and giving the EP a spirited energy. We’re thankful to have such beautiful music and proud to share the magic on ‘Dunes’ with you.

Fresh names to Visionquest, but certainly not new to the game; More Than Material is the promising new project between two bonafide French selector statesmen who collectively boast decades of dancefloor and studio science: Jedsa Soundorom and Gauthier DM. Launching their new alias earlier this year on Zingiber Audio, their signature has been tangible from the off; deep weighted grooves, warm dynamics and total immersion.

'Intimate' says it all; realising its title's close connotations with a dubby, physical groove and a rollcall of soul rolling elements, it's the sound of a crowd locking in en- mass. Low ceiling, heads down, lights low. 'Godsa' follows with similar moody momentum and another hypnotic weave. This time over much more of a stately techno noir soundscape as its persistent jack is laced with subtle acid details. Next, we hit 'Doctor High', an ageless deep house groove peppered with nuances of uplift, trippiness and a drum arrangement that taps deep into the foundations. Once again, the track relives its title's implications.

Finally, we sign out with a precision revision from Fuse resident Archie Hamilton who refixes the pace and density of 'Doctor High' with more of a driving peaktime aesthetic that remains fully respectful of the original's weight and clarity. More Than Material by nature, spirit and name.

It took no less than 15 years of DJ’ing before Sandeep finally found his way to the studio, resulting in a remix for, and several collaborations with, die Stube Records founder Hollt. Sandeep’s long, deep, progressive and atmospheric sets have paved the way for his first ever solo EP, ‘The Deeper Dreamer’.

The EP kicks off with the story-telling ‘The Deeper Dreamer’, built on a solid foundation of drums, a slightly filtered kick and several dreamy synths and pads. With the delicate and dreamy original fitting for those longer sets in dark basement clubs, Hollt’s reinterpretation has a slightly coarse sound in comparison, yet making it a day-dreamy track for those hazy afternoons.

For Whom The Bells Toll is special collaboration between Sandeep and Australian based cellist Wilma. After having met online, the two artists worked together on this slightly melancholic, deep house an neo-classical music cross-over gem. Listening to the original during the night, the acoustic version will suit any Sunday morning.

Vor 6 Jahren, gewissermassen an der ersten HS12-Party, lernte Azadi Eggeaff kennen und erkannte in derselben Nacht auch seine Leidenschaft für Parties. Gefeiert wurde Leonardo DPC’s Geburtstag, welcher zusammen mit Azad in derselben  Breakdance-Crew tanzte. Bei Leo Zuhause an der Heimstrasse 12, fanden dann viele weitere legendäre Homeparties statt, aus denen später das Label HS12 entstand. Das Wichtigste für eine gelungene HS12-Party und das, was er selbst seit anhin am meisten geniesst, ist die Liebe für das familiäre und unbeschwerte Beisammensein, Feiern, Momente und Geschichten erleben!

6 years ago, so to say at the first HS12 party, Azadi got to know Eggeaff and found his passion for parties. On this night, Leonardo DPC’s birthday was celebrated with whom Azad dances together in the same breakdance crew. Many other legendary HS12 home parties came after each other at Leo’s place at Heimstrasse 12, which later gave rise to the HS12 label. For a successful HS12 party, most important to Azad - and what he enjoys most since then - is the love for familiar and carefree get-togethers, celebrations, moments and living stories!
