The Estonian house DJ and producer Taavi Tuisk drops a two tracker for Steve Bug’s irrepressible Poker Flat Recordings. 

Taavi has been making, releasing and promoting music for almost 2 decades, and here we get to feel something of his playful approach to dance music. 

Being an audio production and multimedia lecturer at Tallinn University he could also easily have a doctor degree in DJ-ing, producing and nightlife developing. 

Taavi has been a DJ for more than half of his life and played all over the world - Spain, UK, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, USA etc. Performing at superclubs like Ministry Of Sound, Pacha and Space but also at small cozy underground venues in South Africa. He’s also founder of two open air summer clubs in Tallinn.

Taavi has been producing music since 2003 using different artist names and won the EMA (Estonian Music Award) in 2017 for the best electronic music album.

Taavi only started to release new music under his real name two years ago on labels like A Tribe Called Kotori, Beatfreak, Sudam, Exotic Refreshment, Switchlab and more. 

It’s all about a mixture of synthetic and atmospheric sounds together with ethnic motives and strong percussive grooves, he also brings live element in the form of electronic drums and synths to spice up his live dj gigs.

The title track of Incroyable is a deep house track with tons of cosmic disco attitude - bright sparking synths and shuffling grooves. What's more it features an outstanding spoken word vocal in French.

Also included is a rework by Mihai Popoviciu, a Poker Flat regular who turns in a tougher tech house version that's the perfect compliment to the original. All in all an unmissable release set to go over big with a lot of DJs and their dancefloors.

Next up on Pornbugs return to Bondage Music with a new compilation and mix, ‘Deep Value part 7’ featuring labelmates new and old.

A staple of the German dance scene since 2007, Bondage Music reads like a who’s who of House. Heavyweights such as Markus Homm, Steve Bug, and NTFO rub shoulders with newer talents like Dust Yard, Dilby, and Rangø, all connected by their love of the music and their outstanding studioskills.

For the seventh installment of the Deep Value series label heads, Pornbugs piece together a new sonic journey through deephouse, tech and minimal featuring 17 new cuts from celebrated labelmates Frink, Mihal Popoviciu, Arkady Antsyrev, Sascha Dive and more highlighted here across six special cuts.

Starting off with the deep space funk of Nicola Brusegan and Steve Hammer’s ‘Dance Like It’ bumpy bass and crisp percussion framework airy filter sweeps perfect for those early set warm up sounds. Next Mihal Popoviciu uses all of his dancefloor knowledge on the deep tech groove of ‘Nipon’. Seriously catchy while devistatingly sparse, this one gets under your skin and doesn’t let go!

Adding that classy deep house vibe to the mix, Jürgen Kirsch keeps it hypnotic and dubby on ‘Into The Blue’. Pornbugs make their appearance next with the techy ‘Artica’. Juxtaposing the chunk with some seriously cool piano chords, the track sidesteps all the obvious clichés. Alexander Matachak intensifies the vibe with the dark twisted groove of ‘Tripping Out’ a perfect mid set bruiser built for finding your spot and getting lost in the music!

Rounding out the sampler is the irrepresible Sascha Dive and his ode to the deeper side of Detroit - ‘Motorcity Groove’. Sultry saxophones wail into the night as the stabs feel like a moving train motioning along with the percussive undertow of the track. Simply put: perfection.

Last November 'Bonus Point (7+1)' was released. A single hit produced by the chief u z z v as part of the 8th-anniversary celebrations alongside seven amazing remixes (part I) from Alex Arnout, Jamahr, Jizz, Juliche Hernandez, Lolu Menayed, Nicola Brusegan and Ray Okpara. For the second part another 3 great artists re-work on the single. Andre Salmon is the first name who remixed. The artist from Guayaquil (Ecu) is already releasing in labels such as Hot Creations and managing his own Arritmia label alongside the legend Kevin Saunderson. Italian master Cristian Viviano, polyhedric and inspired artist as he defined himself, made a perfect dancefloor-banger that 'makes you dance' as the extra added vocal says. Pornbugs music has become known for its ability to connect people with their hearts and a deeper place in their souls. Their passion lies with pushing musical boundaries and constantly evolving their sound, as you can feel on this Frankfurt based Duo remix, a really deep trippy track.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin.

Musical tastes of the project participants were formed under the influence of the electronic scene of the 90s. it is reflected in their music  that combines atmospheric and machine sounds. The defining moment for DP-6 was in 2003, when the first project‘s record was released, and a few years later the track DP-6 became a part Hernan Cattaneo's Renaissance compilation, which was well accepted on electronic scene. Alexey and Vadim are also the founders of the label DP-6 Records, which publishes not only their own tracks, but also music of other artists.
