On the forefront of Northern Europe's techno scene for almost 3 decades now, Bjarnar Jónsson’s reputation has been built out of a storied commitment to its ethos. His journey is well evidenced in an arms-length catalog of over 20 releases, where his skill and precision at cutting magnetic and blissfully deep records are on full display. Noteworthy labels such as @thule-records, RAWAX, @luckofaccess, @vademecumrec, and AE Recordings are just a few of the labels Ohm lays claim to. Collaborating regularly with the likes of Dub techno pioneer @exos and fellow countryman @octalindustries.

Now based in Copenhagen, Ohm continues to make an impact on the scene. Spinning regularly at local hotspot Culture Box and, as well as running two shows on Timeline music online platform.

Prepare yourself for 2hrs of dub-soaked sonics from one of Techno's true dons.

Gojnea76 is not like other Romanian artists, although perhaps once part of the Ro scene G76 is now an entirely different beast. His productions and DJ sets have a certain mechanical funk to them that swagger where others play it straight. WAV will provide the soundtrack from Thursday 16.05 till Sunday 19.05 between 12h & 18h CET. On Thursday till 21h.

Extra info: In the light of the subtle yet significant role music plays within the identity of PLUS-ONE Gallery, Aesthetic Echoes seeks to revive this through juxtaposition and careful curation of the diverse artistic interpretations of a hundred artists. Each one of them will be invited to reimagine the 33-inch vinyl record cover of a number, album, artist they feel intertwined with and reflect it’s essence and their own artistic interpretation of it in this particular format.
