My entry for Distant Phantasm 5. I mixed about fourteen different themes in this one :3
I attempted to do a contemporary Pop sound because that's the genre of the song that inspired me to do this
(you can never get enough of David Guetta's "Night of Your Life" haha!)

I've had lots of fun making this one~ a new achievement has been achieved too: a song that extends up to more than 10 minutes!
This is definetely a first for me. And the fact that I was able to finish this in the span of a month.. I feel good lol.

This is my very first Touhou remix - though I've been a musician for most of my life, I'm still an amateur when it comes to audio production... nevertheless, I hope everyone at DP will find this piece enjoyable.

TH12 has one of my favorite soundtracks of the series, and I have a particular soft spot for Stage 6 themes (they can have some of the most interesting unexplored ideas out there!) so naturally I arrived at rearranging this track.

It isn't as dark and foreboding as the original, but I hope it paints the same extraordinary image in your minds as I see: the final journey through a twisted landscape of ruin and decay, awash in the colors of blood and sunset... and at the end of the path sits the White Lotus Saint, quietly contemplating, awaiting her return into the world.

An spontanous remix I just created today, and felt like also sharing it in this event, because... why not. I mean... come on it still is the 15th, right? So I just felt like showing what I did as a base today... I hope I can release my previous entry (Till Then) on my CD soon, maybe all my problems will be gone if I remove the first song on it... I wonder... ♪

Oh sorry, for getting off topic. I tried a free synthesizer I found, called "Square I" by rgcAudio, which turned out to be a 3 level OSCilationator... thing... ZE. I am not really sure what to call it, but it just works fine. I decided to take a melody I know quite well, as I remixed it about 2 years ago and I felt like I just had to use it again after I heard how horribly I mangeled it back then. Decided to use an NES Drumset for the drums, and for a special effect, to keep it from being too bland, I used "Glitch v1.3" from Illformed.org ZE★. I should maybe think about adding more, but... there is no time. I'm seriousZE! Time does not exist. It is only a fiction of mind. Ze~ ★★★!!!!

And here goes another Distant Phantasm! Can't wait to fully prepare for the 7th one...
