Following up a collaborative "If You Leave" EP alongside A.Motion for Bullet Train Records and being touted as one of ‘UK Garage’s New School Stars’ by Thump, Conducta delivers a 2-track solo effort that continues to push his signature bass heavy twist on the Garage sound.

With an abundance of nostalgia towards its breakout years, this Bristol based producer is among a talented crop of artists pushing forward on the trademark 2-step template. Lead track ‘Let Go’ opens with subtle old school hints as guitar riffs run alongside smooth vocal cut ups before erupting into a crescendo of driving sub-bass energy. B-side ‘Used To Care’ focuses a slight change in gear utilizing deep-rooted 808s within an upfront 2-step drum pattern and dark synths that could soundtrack a sci-fi action scene.

To complete the release Distro, fresh from releasing on Roska Kicks & Snares & 877 Records, takes on A-side 'Let Go' adding serious weight behind his rowdy bass remix, encapsulating the noise of the burgeoning Bristol/Birmingham bass scenes in the process.

Rising UK Garage artist A.Motion continues a year of ascent with the release of ‘Chills’ by DPM records following on from recent appearances in the mix for Get Darker and the Butterz show on Rinse FM. 

Debuted earlier in the year by Royal-T on Rinse ‘Chills’ is a hypnotic slice of bass-heavy Garage 2.0, a phrase coined by Vice’s Thump citing DPM label mate Conducta among a group of artists pushing forward the sound which A.Motion wholeheartedly falls into. There are subtle reminisist nods to the pure garage days with soft chords alongside an irresistible vocal that engineers towards the club with low sub-bass and superbly catchy chime hooks.

“Moony kills it” was the accurate description of the ‘Chills (Remix)’ made live on-air by Flava D. Brighton’s own UKG heavyweight takes on the original with his signature sound, delivering a baseline heavy Dark House remix that’s built for the club dance floor. 

This year has proved to be pivotal for A.Motion with highlights including the collaborative ‘If You Leave’ EP with Conducta on Bullet Train Records, appearing on a compilation for Tumble Audio and sharing a stage with the likes of Spooky, DJ Cameo and Scott Garcia at UKG Fest. 

‘Chills’ rounds off a successful year for the London based producer who is already looking to set 2015 alight with an up-coming track made with Royal-T already doing damage in recent radio sets.

Conducta re-fixes ‘Let Go’ the inaugural DPM release into a certified UKG affair. The original mix of soulful vocals and guitar licks still remain but are met with a rejuvenating 2-step drum rhythm and serious low ends.

Winning support among fellow DJs, ‘Let Go (VIP)’ has been selected in the UKG Top 5 on DJ Cameo’s BBC Radio 1xtra show and spent 2 weeks in a row at number 1 in Mike Delinquent’s Top 5 on Kiss. This was followed with additional plays from heavy-hitters Flava D, DJ Cartier, Dappa, DJ Q & Sinden on Rinse and Kiss.
