Rafael Fernandez presents his first LP. This collection of 9 tracks is characterized by its eclectic vibe. Instrumentation and ideas are combined with care in this album. Funk bass grooves, soulful chords, whispering or barking synthesizers, and lyrics in Spanish make this album interesting for a street walk or midnight at a club. Drums, both organic and sampled,  sound powerful and complete in this album too. The original homemade flavor of house music is all over these tracks. This is for sure a solid work produced by an authentic group of Latin American musicians.

Following on from previous full-length albums, ‘Love Lights Music And More’ and ‘More Music, Lights And Love’, Leeds-based duo MAM – aka Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes - are back to present their third LP, ‘Garden Of Eternal Summers’. Scheduled for release on via Outcross Records on 4th March and comprised of 14 tracks, it’s an album born out of late night jam sessions with guitars and synthesisers.

Leading with dreamy, psychedelic synths is lush opener ‘Digital Emotion’ before second track ‘Memory Touch’ switches things up to tell a lighter, bouncier tale of it’s own. ‘Street Boutique’ introduces a grittier bassline underneath a crescending old school synth melody, whilst ‘Love Shock’ eases the pressure with a retro guitar riff set against summery keyboard chords. ‘Future Mystery’ continues this sun-kissed theme, with soft, echoey keys complimenting a bass guitar riff, before a harder-hitting bassline and drums add an extra dimension to the breakdown midway through the track.

The final two tracks ‘Organic Voyage’ and ‘Double Chance’ act as the sunset on MAM’s summer garden of an album, with evocative saxophone samples and airy synths bringing the album to a hazy, relaxed end.

Mexico City’s underground house, disco and funk scene.
Deep Sense has grown to be recognized as one of tbest electronic music ventures in Mexico City. Our close relation to scenes all over the world has aided us to expand and solidify as a professional brand and as a reference for Mexican electronic music.

In 2014 Deep Sense debuts as a Music Label. Our purpose was to spur and promote the work of talented Mexican producers. As of today, we have 16 Ep’s and Various Artists compilations released in all major electronic music stores. All of our releases have been very well received and all of them featured in the prestigious top ten Disco/ Nu-Disco/ Re-Edits sales in Juno.
