Our guest today, Dr. Sujata Ives is an award-winning global consultant, international speaker, best-selling author, and leader in the field of employment counseling. 

Her vast experience in workforce analytics and human flourishing has reached the seven regions of this world. She has danced with admirals and foreign dignitaries through her eighteen military dependent moves that gave her opportunities to help multi-million-dollar systems. She leverages global talent to collaborate with leaders that wish to hold candid dialogues about visionary leadership. 

Dr. Ives is the Community Coordinator of the World Council on Global & Intercultural Competency, an arm of UNESCO; the Co-chair of Programming for the Asia Pacific Career Development Association. She is also immediate Past-President of the Maryland Career Development Association, and immediate Past-Chairman of the International Committee of the American Counseling Association;

Dr. Ives is the 2023 recipient of the National Career Development Association’s Diversity Initiative Award, and current Chair of their prestigious Leadership Academy. She is also the 2023 recipient of the title “Global Visionary” given to her by OtroMundo, Colombia, South America. In 2016, she was the recipient of the “Emerging Leaders” award presented to her by the National Employment Counseling Association, a Division of the ACA. 

Dr. Ives has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and is a Harvard trained Mediator. She believes that a perspicacious mind is imperative for leaders to meet conscious and intercultural competencies that can enable them to think critically and act inclusively on the competitive global stage. 

Her book and workbook entitled, “Activate Success, Be a leader in your niche” have hit the bestseller status and both are available on Amazon.

Our guest today is author and Principal Coach and founder of LBO Career Coaching & Consulting LLC Lametra B. Off.

Lametra is a Christian, and first considered the concept of uniqueness as a soldier in the U.S. Army, where seemingly only conformity exists. Although it makes sense to conform to the rules of the Army, soldiers are people first and just as unique as a diamond or a snowflake, a metaphor she used to title her new book, “Becoming a Diamond Snowflake: Discover Your YOUnique Brilliance” which we will be discussing in this episode. #diamondsnowflake 

While teaching in the government sector, authenticity was her competitive advantage. For over 20 years, she has held various leadership positions in the U.S. Army, government sector, banking and non-profit industries. Since 2014, she has trained thousands of leaders, helping them accomplish their goals. She is known for being an authentic leader, an educator and her laughter. Her unique approach blends coaching, fun, and training for teams, organizations, individual clients and students to increase their personal and professional performance. 
Lametra Off has a degree in Business Administration and a Master of Human Resources Training & Development with a specialization in Adult Training and Development. She is also a Certified Career Services Provider via the National Career Development Association; Global Career Development Facilitator via the Center for Credentialing and Education; a Certified Professional Coach from iPEC; has a Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF); and is certified to administer several proprietary leadership related assessments essential to crafting an individual’s leadership success plan.

Our guest today is Professor of Career Guidance at Edinburgh Napier University, Pete Robertson.

After studying psychology at the University of Warwick, Guest Pete Robertson trained as a career adviser in 1987.  He worked in schools in London and Hertfordshire, specialising in support for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties. He then trained in occupational psychology at the University of East London, becoming a career service training manager.  In 2001 he relocated to Scotland and joined the faculty at Edinburgh Napier University.  Since then, he has lectured on the postgraduate career guidance programme, and he became a professor in 2021.  His research interests include the relationship between #careers and #wellbeing ; theory and policy in relation to career guidance; and support for disadvantaged groups. He is a Fellow of the National Institute for Career Education and Counselling (NICEC).  He is currently the President of the Career Development Institute (CDI), the UK professional body for career practitioners.

Grounded in the globally applicable Employability Capital Growth Model and aligned with the global Sustainability Development Goals this approach helps people identify how and where they want to make an impact - the first step on any career journey! As a member of the Deaf community, Ruth is also a passionate advocate for people with disabilities especially regarding equality and inclusion in the workplace. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters creating enticing treats in the kitchen and numerous works of art!

Emer O Donnell is a behavioural change coach with a background in psychology and 20+ years working in global organisations.

In 2016, she recognised a gap in young people's educational skills that prevented them from navigating the complex world we now live in leaving so many feeling overwhelmed, lost and anxious.

She was then inspired to become the Founder of a coaching and training company called TeenReconnect to address this gap. She focuses her work on supporting parents to help their children to thrive, empowering youth professionals to increase their skills, and supporting organisations that wish to become more effective in this space. She emphasises the importance of developing well-being first for sustained performance.

Emer is also the author of ‘Understanding Teen Stress & Anxiety; A Parent’s Guide To Building Love And Connection and has created the digital Q Pathfinder coaching app. It is a personalised tool used as part of her 7Q TeenReconnect coaching programme for young people so they understand who they uniquely are and can learn how that plays out in their career choices, confidence, learning, stress, and relationships.

Our guest today is associate professor of counseling and coordinator of the clinical mental health program at Wake Forest University, Dr. Seth Hayden. 

Who is Dr Seth?

Dr. Seth C.W. Hayden is an associate professor of counseling and coordinator of the clinical mental health program at Wake Forest University. Dr. Hayden’s research focuses on the connection between career development and mental health. In addition, he examines the career and personal development needs of military service members, veterans, and their families. 

Dr. Hayden is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina, a national certified counselor, a certified clinical mental health counselor, and an approved clinical supervisor. In addition, Dr. Hayden is a past-president of the Military and Government Counseling Association and National Career Development Association, both divisions of the American Counseling Association.
