Scramble Saga technically doesn't meet the criteria for an AU for this project, as its "not dead" status update was less than six months ago, but we got a request from a friend in a high place, and honestly ScrS has never gotten enough attention anyway. So consider a bit of a strange exception. Perfect for a track about Gaster. Thumbnail is a screenshot from the latest part of the comic.

[Scramble Saga] The Good Doctor

Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the events following the human-monster conflict, leading to an underground riddled with disarray. That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.
That said, similar to Underfell, Hopeless follows a sort of "inverted morality" system, which is why the usually more power-hungry Gaster is actually one of the friendliest members of the cast.

On that note, Gaster takes the role of Sans. This is a much friendlier Gaster. He's still a devoted scientist, but his experiments are much safer, and are purely for the benefit of monsterkind. He never fell into any sort of creation, and is not corrupted in any sense.

Hopeless headcanons that Gaster's Theme is as short as it is because it is only a fragment of Gaster, due to him being spread across time and space. So this song attempts to turn Gaster's Theme into a "complete" song. Also yes, Gaster's gimmick is that each individual line of text has a multiple of three for the amount of words (usually 3 words or 6 words).

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore V, the King Mettaton ending, details an ending in which Asgore, Toriel, and Undyne are all slain, leaving Mettaton next in line for the throne. He's turned the Underground into an aesthetic corporate dystopian paradise. Humans are to be invited to join his Fan Club. And if they reject it, they die.

Alphys takes the role of Asriel. After losing Undyne and Asgore she hid herself away in the True Lab, where it was presumed she had done...something drastic. Seems like that wasn't exactly the case. She's been preparing for years... all for this very moment.

This song is not a replacement for anything. It plays during the meeting with Gaster in a Genocide route (or a Neutral route if you've killed a certain number of people by this stage), where he is aware of the deaths you have caused and decides that your SOUL would be better off with him. He can be spared, by reminding him of your common goals. He must be killed for a Genocide route.

As stated by a few tracks ago, Purple Monster and The Warrior swaps with Bratty and Catty. Their restaurant is located outside of Frostover Town, nobody really goes there anymore after a "rumor" spread all over the underground. Also, for some of you waiting for the megalo, it's quite unfortunate that I don't plan to release that one until further notice lol

Okay so like I felt like doing something different today so I made a Custom Gaster Battle Theme based on the music in the ost of The Binding of Isaac Rebirth and so on. It really gives it quite an unsettling feeling in a way, but it still feels like a fight.
