Tom Gotti was born in June 1985 in Vienna (Austria). 
As Tom came in contact with Techno for his first time in 2000, he was stunned and excited about a crowd of 3000 people who all had the same spirit.
His passion for Techno Festivals was awaked and years of enjoying those passed the land before he decided to buy his first equipment. So he started mixing in 2009 and after a lot of practicing and experimentation Tom found his own style in combinating straight- driving- hard hitting- and dark Techno.
Just one year later in 2010 he started creating his own Technomusic and finally in the first half of 2012 he had his first EP release, and other followed quickly on Labels like:
Hybrid Confusion, BlackListed Audio, Kopfmusik, Steil, Black Pearl Music, Naughty Pils Records, RealTribe Records and so on…
Until today his style evolved continually to something unique. Recently he described its Style with these words:
"It is a bit of an sick and crazy mind packed into an untypical kind of techno with less percussions but with more synths and totally cranky and bizarre sound combined with powerful kicks and basslines.“

Nowadays Tom Gotti is a well requested DJ and Producer/Remixer. 
He played on the side of several internationally known artists such as INDUSTRIALYZER, DJ EMERSON, 
REBEKAH, MARIKA ROSSA, OCTAVE, A-BROTHERS, and others.
and did remixes for people like: A-Brothers, Extra Dry, Cern, Christian Kliche, Peat Noise, Robert Stahl, Primal Beat just to name a few. 
In December 2014 he founded its own record label for high quality underground techno music called TOOL CABINET Recordings based in Vienna Austria.

1. Wie würdest du deine Biographie formulieren, die mit nur einem Satz auf alle 5 W Fragen (WER? WIE? WAS? WANN? WO?) eine Antwort für uns hat?  

Mein Künstlername ist Grace Thompson, ich bin Berlinerin (jedoch ursprünglich aus Mecklenburg Vorpommern) und spiele öffentlich seit 2013 quer durch die Genres Techno, Tech House und Minimal.

2. Wann & wo hattest du eigentlich dein erstes Mal? Ähm ja oder besser gefragt in welcher Situation, hast du das erste Mal wirklich bewusst an einem Mischpult gestanden?

2012 in dem Studio eines Kumpels.

3. Was genau haben deine Eltern dazu gesagt, als du ihnen gesagt hast, dass du ein DJ werden willst?

Meine Mutter hat total interessiert nachgefragt und verlauten lassen, dass sie mich gern mal live sehen möchte wenn ich irgendwo auflege.

4. Wie würdest du deine Musik charakterisieren?

Ich kann und mag mich nicht für ein Genre entscheiden. Ich mixe Techno, Tech House und Minimal da ich finde, dass diese sehr gut miteinander harmonieren können. Beschreiben würde ich meinen Stil als lebendig, kraftvoll und abwechslungsreich – alles außer monoton.

5. Wo hat für dich Musik ihre Grenzen?

Hat Musik Grenzen? Ich denke jeder definiert sich mit seiner eigenen Art von Musik die evtl. nicht immer nachvollziehbar für andere ist.

Der Fuchs kam, schaute nicht lang und entschied das wunderbar gesellige Treiben am Herrentag in Berlin zu unterbinden.

Echte Hasen brauchen aber trotzdem was auf die Ohren und so gab´s anschließend im grünen Hasenbau noch was auf die Löffel. 

Wir sehen uns wieder, dann aber besser ohne Fuchs...
