Julius Hoek (Dr.Spinoza) is an electronic music producer with a rich background in music of many styles. This reflects in his music which ranges from Progressive House to Dubstep to Ambient to Trance to Chip Hop and many more. Dr. Spinoza also is interested in live performance and is always looking to DJ although he is not a "DJ" but an electronic musician. Contact for booking at events parties etc. Currently residing in New Hope PA.
MORE ABOUT DR. SPINOZA
Dr. Spinoza is Julius Hoek's newest Music Project. He started this project, or at least identifying this project due to the vast variety of music he creates. He felt that he needed to separate his work under two different style, Dr. Spinoza being the more club friendly and DJ stage name project under which he will release club oriented music and original remixes, whereas Ayia Logos will remain his experimental and more abstract project. Julius Hoek has been writing and producing music for years as well as playing piano. keyboard, and synthesizer. He has studied composition and uses the tools learned when creating his music. He has been a member of many live band projects including The Socratic Method and Orken, both in West Chester PA. The page for The Socratic Method is still up at www.myspace.com/socraticmethodgrooves ,  But Julius is no longer a member due to distance and creative differences but you can check out the band in its current stage under the name Grand Schematic.
