Here level 1 BGM. Despite the synthwave cover I tried to respect the musical markers of original BGM played by a Yamaha YM2151 FM soundchip.

Cover - Cotton : Fantastic Synthwave Level 1

Here a cover of level 2 BGM of Super Adventure Island on Super Nintendo. This game contains amazing BGM from famous Yuzo Koshiro. One of the best title to showcase SNES sound chip capabilities and the result is house, techno, electro style... in 1992 on a video game console. Very good work !

Cover - Super Adventure Island - Level 2 BGM

Mystic Quest Legend on Super Nintendo is one of the first game on this console. Original composer is Ryuji Sasai. It also has very good BGM in "rock" style". I try to respect the mood of whole BGM on this game, especially the fake electric guitar and chiptune leads.

Cover - Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Last boss

Here a cover of Die Hard Trilogy part "Die Harder" level 1 "Dulles Airport" BGM compose by Stephen Root, and Neil Palmer.

Game use redbook audio to produce music but the is some good piece of ambiant / suspend feeling.

Castlevania 3 on NES is famous fot it's awesome BGM compose by the guy from Konami Kukeiha Club (SASAKI YOSHINORI, MORIMOTO YUKIE, FUNAHASHI JUN, MAEZAWA HIDENORI).

Castlevania 3 - The Beginning cover

Original composer : Kazunaka Yamane. One of the early Super Nintendo games. After the synthetic BGMs of the arcade and console versions, the musics of the SNES version sets a new tone. They're catchy, though short in their loop.

Here's a remix of the Level 1 theme. I've tried to respect the original material, especially the strings track, while rearranging the theme.

Cover - Super Double Dragon - Mission Remix

Here a remix of level BGM "Sewer Surfin'" from Super Nintendo TMNT4 : Turtles in Time compose by Harumi Ueko for SNES version (arcade original composers Mutsuhiko Izumi and Kazuhiko Uehara).

One of the first SNES games and one with the best OST made on this console. I made this cover and use Game Boy bass to try to retrieve the feeling of TMNT games on this machine but with a SNES game. Enjoy.

Turtles in Time - Chipwave Surfin'

Here a cover from Magician Lord level 5 BGM originally composed by Hideki Yamamoto, Hiroaki Shimizu, Yuka Watanabe. This game features arcade-style music typical from the early 90s. An interesting mix of electronic FM and samples. I've tried to keep this spirit while adding a few touches of synthwave and a gritty Game Boy bass, while maintaining the FM tone of the original composition.

Here a cover of Sonic CD track "Tidal Tempest" compose by Naofumi Hataya and Masafumi Ogata. It's not particularly my favorite music, but it's perfect for a calm, soaring theme.

Sonic CD - Tidal Chill

This is one of my favourite video game music. The Moon theme from Duck Tales on the NES, composed by Hiroshige Tonomura.

The game doesn't take advantage of the NES's sound capabilities, but the BGMs are very well composed and catchy.

Here's a synthwave/dance remix composed the way I would have liked to hear it.
