This is Discourse. A megalo i made with the idea of it being a Progressive Metal song while still a megalovania.
This one was really fun to make, and i really hope you like it!
This was made a bit of a while ago, so its still a bit primitive on the prog metal side, especially compared to other unreleased songs i made, but it was a start, and now i feel much more confident with my abilities with progressive metal.

Today i got this little cover of bibulus. It's a cool megalo and people all around have covered it. But this one's different. I wanted to give it some style. So i made it a little bit structured like TEOAT lmfao

Another thing you may notice is that this is actually a cover of drop's bibulus cover. I've rarely seen anyone make a cover using his motifs, so i decided to make one. I hove everyone lies this one, thanks for coming around!

I got insstantly hooked in the song in the beginnig playing on a music box. I then proceeded to transcribe and turn that song into metal. Cause' i love metal. A lot.
About the name, i just really didn't know what to call it, so i just named it that lmao.

Anyway, welcome to insanity v3. Finally. It's taken me so long to get this right, and now I finally think I made it. This song was by far the most fun to make. It holds a special place in my heart, it's really special to me and feels like a milestone to have reached. This is all thanks to you and this wonderful community, who's helped me progress over the years and seen me get better and better with each post. Going into some more sad stuff now, I don't expect myself to be posting any more undeertale content from now on. I've always thought saying out to people that you're leaving the community is attention seeking, especially if you come back to it with a post telling everyone you're back not a week later. I still do, but recently i've been thinking about this better and i've realised I don't want to keep you here waiting for another undertale post and not tell everyone to not expect it again. It sure will be a nice surprise if I post another one, and i won't keep people who just wanted to see undertale content here, wasting their time. I'm very thankful for the wonderful times i've had here in this community, and how much i was able to grow.

Hey everyone.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Remember when I said you shouldn't expect more Undertale content from me? Well, you may color yourself surprised. Don't expect more again, this is one thing that I decided to do half jokingly until I put my hands to work.

For some context, before I "left" the community, since around 2019 or 2020, I've been deeply enamored with Periphery. It has gotten to the point that I can probably tell you the name of any Periphery song you play in front of me without hints, and if I can't, I can assure you it is from the Icarus Lives EP (which I should actually more attentively listen to). Periphery V was the first album I was hyped up to listen to in my entire life, and when it dropped I listened to it so much that I got bored of it for a while.

Imagine my surprise when I found a Megalovania project based on the newest album of my all-time favorite band.

The first song I found from https://soundcloud.com/dr-samuel-hayden's project was the Misfortune cover. Initially I found it interesting, but the more I listened to it, the more it's flaws started to ooze out, as if it was overflowing with a sticky and slimy substance.

Reading the comments of that track, I found others agreed, however, were not healthy in how they expressed their dissatisfaction with it. I then decided to make this song as to show how I would do it instead, somewhat "fixing" the issues with the original song.

Something important too, is to point out the issues with the original, in a constructive way, as to help each other grow, and this is what I mainly am caring so much about this description for, making it look presentable and readable. I may no longer be around, but that does not mean I want others to fail. In the end, what unites us all is our passion for music, and it is far more healthy to continue to build each other up than to tear one another down.

I wrote it all here in the description of this track only to find out SoundCloud has a 4000 character limit, so i put my ramblings into a google doc besides the FLP and the MP3 file.

Thank you for listening, and for reading through this. This song is the culmination of a long time of my own betterment, trying to achieve new heights, not being limited to a song from a game nearing its 9th birthday in a couple of months. I owe to this community and to my friends the quality and improvement I see in my own projects, and without this silly little song from a 2015 game,  I do believe i would not have reached these heights. Thank you to everyone involved in my growth. As a person. As a musician. But most importantly, as an artist.
