About Mooncake:
"RSS Disco, masters of the radiant "everything-may-nothing-must” sound, like hardly any other DJ and producer team, have found the answers that contemporary electronic music may need. With their new album, the Hamburg disco house trio unveil the blanks in so-called club culture - and celebrate precisely these. "Mooncake" seems like a summons, a quiet but sustained curl of the index finger. But it doesn't play with the audience, it lets the audience play.

Their debut album holds eleven tracks full of vastness, full of possibilities. A classic artist album in the tried and true RSS Disco style, a psychedelic exploring mad stream from the pulse of the world. 80s wave, house, sweat-pop can be heard. Readymades with cut up vocal snippets and sunshine loops on cold clang, spaced pads and beach synths."

Ever wondered who that tall longhaired godlike masculine creature is that has been roaming Dr. Seltsam's basement? That is Filippos. The doctor considers him a historical artifact. And he truly is a Greek philosopher of the fourth dimension, and a nice addition to Dr. Seltsam's collection of extraordinary beings. 
Filippos and his disciples, called 'Malakas', used to happily trip around Utrecht. From forest to Dom, and always in search of the fourth primary color. On one of their quests, three years ago, Filippos coincidently fell down the doctor's basement. His Malakas followed and jumped in right away. Except for one Malaka. She was not sure whether to dive in right or left. She started counting, and on three she dove exactly through the middle. Stumbling down the basement she made an uncoordinated back flip and ended up in a split. There she was, with her toosh on the middle of the dance floor, shocked, while looking at her finger. The tip of her finger was split in two. Out of the cut fluttered a tiny stream with a most mesmerizing color. A color so beautiful which no human had ever seen. At this point Filippos looked back at this last Malaka and the wise explorer knew what he was witnessing. 
Today he shares his wisdom with you. A musical auditory testament that addresses to all those happy trippers who do not know which way to go: Follow your feelings, your mood, wherever it might take you. You might go right, you might go left. But, if there are things you want to avoid standing in between, you should follow them, accept them, and dive right through the middle! Only then shit will turn into gold, and your blood will turn into the fourth primary color.
