Still Getting Through

A mortician stepped out of his morgue and threw away his blood-covered latex gloves. He lit a cigarette and looked up to see a strange, floating rock the size of a person descending from the sky in front of him. A creature emerged from the rock and they stood staring at each other for a moment. Slowly, the alien reached out a tentacle towards the mortician. The mortician took his hand out of his pocket, holding a gun, aimed it at the creature's head. He fired. The alien fell to the ground. 
The mortician took out two new latex gloves from his pocket and put them on.
