All By Ourselves

Ray Bradbury is one is my favorite story telling authors. he wrote hundreds of short stories and some that became well known movies, or went on to television fame. I love his style, Enjoy this excerpt.

When thinking today, my mind was faced with thoughts of people being alone and factors that force life down particular paths, often against our own will.  ~Draevnn~

This piece is the product of a momentary thought of a future story I plan to write. This is the thought that popped into my mind, when the story like concept was born. I wrote it down quickly, thoughts always seem to dwindle and dissipate into the ether quicker than anything can be recorded or scratched on to paper. Deep in the dark of night thoughts come to me and fester, tantalizing the dark part to come to ink. It can be scary, but it is me and my art.

Lucy has waited for her special delivery, and the time has arrived. Preparing for life is one of the most important lessons of life.  ~d~

The Delivery

I find myself writing at night and most often in the late night, when visions of things seem to visit. and so I write what comes to me.

Prison ~ Draevnn Motkova

I wrote this piece for Valentines Day, 2025. I had set out to write something that was loving,  caring; maybe of love and flowers and rolling hills in a beautiful life, but such is fate. All is not beautiful, and for all, life is interrupted, by life. I hope you feel deep, the life that visited me in this vision. It felt so deep to me.  But I do have a loving piece of a different magnitude that I will post later this weekend, but I am allowing this mysterious couple hold fast in my life, a little longer.

This is a piece I wrote after being diagnosed with Cancer.  I could feel love was still in me, but I had not felt it since that fateful day, 3 months ago.  It might have a ting of something non-loving,  you decide.  ~d~
