Why 2016 in the title? Because I started this in 2016. Never got to finish it because of the sjit I got in. I have so many project going on at once right now new and old, but for this one I thought it needed to get out there.

Legacy [work in progress]

Collab with Matt Strathdee. Out of my comfort zone, and really a track base I made just impress my 15 year old son what it would sound like if an EDM producer created a rap base track. Due to his interrest he got me interested too so there's the start. BUT! going on vocaliser with something complete different on a whole other track, this dude tapped me on the shoulder asking me if I have something rap based that he could work on. Of course I had and we made an agreement on a collab. When I got back from my holiday he dropped this. And this surprised me a lot since I think it turned out really great! when I was working on other project completely. Hop rap players like it as much as we do and did creating it. 

Verse:
Stuck in my ways but I just keep it real
type of bars to make em feel 
type of message make em heal
I never thought to chase a deal
that simple route had no appeal
plus I cannot be contained 
they tried to keep me in that cage
but I broke out rose up made a name
still working at my 9-5 
I’m humble when I’m spitting flames
fire in my soul it burns
every lesson that I learned
has made me stay patient in this world
until I get my turn
and once I get it oooh I’m really bout to make it pop
have my family with me when I’m sitting at the very top
you feel the emotion in every single song I drop
I can smell the phoney in their verses every time they talk
