Maor Hasbani from Tel Aviv is the man behind the new promising electronic project,
Gumi.
In the late 90’s Maor stumbled upon the electronic side of music, 1st in the more classic genres including Rock, Progressive, Jazz & Fusion .
A Few years later Maor began his long a fruitful career in the local psychedelic trance scene, pretty much in all levels…from production to promotion…
What led him to the creation of Gumi :
Just by understanding the title word Gumi, meaning elastic, gives us the expectation to a flexible fluent atmosphere of sounds ,and surely the result is such. A project with a mix of a new eastern oriented music, not in an obvious way, but rather in a creative blend of clubby style, bold analog baselines that convey a warm feeling contrasted by 303 acid lines. Diverse, Tribal with ethnic drops.
Elastic sounds with a gloomy psy touch and old school analog sounds.
Beautiful melodies in well told stories.
Maor Hasbani is putting up a terrific blend of fused styles into a strong concept with endearing storytelling.

Andrei Kireev, producer and beatmaker from St. Petersburg, Russia, created the stage name “Broken Stars” back in 2015, when after several years of playing his drum’n’bass and hardcore tracks in small clubs, he finally got his own unique sound as a result of many musical experiments.
Ethnic eclecticism and psychedelic sound textures taken as a basis and enriched with the power of base music create unusual musical landscapes, which can only be fully felt right in front of a sound system at the live performance of Broken Stars.
You can often see the musician performing live with a vocalist, or playing DJ sets of his own compositions, as well as every once in a while representing essences from his huge collections of dubstep, drum’n’bass, psytrance, dub and chillout tracks .

His new Ep "The Mirror" is positively dripping with psychedelic sounds and jazz influenced melodies!

The "The Mirror" is part of a project designed by Aurelien Dornier aka Hypnotic Peafowl.

A project where the artist wants to create a narrative link between each published EP by revisiting the theme of Pandora's box and thus creating a guideline for the long term.

Pandora's box is a metaphor that symbolises the mind of peafowl, a very broad subject that will allow it to explore very different designations from one EP to another.

Structured like a play with intrigue, exhibition and outcome. Nothing is left to chance and each piece of music has a construction and a colour specific to the theme of the EP.

Here the first act "The Mirror" represents a positive conversation but it's up to you to make your own interpretation...
