Draize

From Creator to Curator 
 
Draize aka James Ramsbotham has been musically driven since his mid teens, listening to bands like The Smiths, Joy Division and The Stone Roses, but unsure of what exactly he wanted to do with this passion for sounds he discovered drum and bass during secondary school after “borrowing” Drum & Bass Arena Presents DJ Hype from his sister (thanks Lauren).
 
Being introduced to an eclectic bag of tracks from the genre such as Disco Dodo & Carnival (Lynx), If we Ever (High Contrast), Be True (Commix), Cannonball (Noisia & Phace) & Don’t be Silly (Original Sin), these tracks laid the foundations for Draize’s musical journey.
 
Years later Draize is one of the founding members of UK drum and bass label “Lost Recordings”, which has discovered some of the scenes most promising artists such as Dot., Dedman, Confusious, Ingot & Sentic Cycle.
