From the depths of music’s murkiest waters, AUDIO is back and bigger than ever. Pumping those bass heavy dumbbells and effortlessly reigning over the realm he helped to shape, prepare yourself for a musical excursion like no other.
The union between RAM and AUDIO sent reverberations throughout the community. Having already thrown hard-hitting punches with his first release on the imprint, it’s now time for another full-frontal assault. 
The opening credits roll out like a musical blockbuster, with those first few jabs sending you reeling in suspense. ‘Nil By Mouth’ is snappy, aggressive and builds tentatively, with an imposing drop which leaves a lasting impact. There’s an endless stream of hard-hitting bass notes, cutting deeper and deeper into the mix until its intimidating composition is exposed. The structure is then diced up by an elevating drum pattern, leading you into meticulously crafted anarchy. AUDIO smashes you head first through a glass prototype, leaving you to bear the brunt of his production. 
Next up, we’re introduced to the mechanical drill of ‘Ultron’. The first few booms pushes the intro forward at an alarming pace, accelerating as the gears are audibly shifted. Measured, yet proving to be unstoppable and flying forward aboard one pounding rhythm, expect no less from the guy who brought you ‘Heads Up’ and ‘Stampede’. Ending with a final snap of breakbeat, you’re left to bask in a record that detonates with outstanding power. 
Following on from these dance floor destroyers, is aptly named ‘Break It’.  On first listen, stay away from anything fragile. Winding up with the same tell-tale aggressiveness which his production style is renowned for, he manoeuvres last minute into unfamiliar territories.  Bouncing between bars with a war-cry like vocal sample, AUDIO pulls you in and keeps you there… another shining example of AUDIO’s ability to produce game changing, contemporary drum and bass. 
Wrapping up this sonic assault is ‘Gotham’. As dark and brooding as the famed city itself, find yourself lead through a stepping, precise construction of beats. Unforgiving, weighty pads guide a steppy riddim into undiluted madness. This completely envelops the musical environment and it’s difficult not to blown away by the conundrum of quick witted instrumentation that snap, crack and smack with every break. 
Featuring next level cuts from a man who stands at the genre’s forefront, it’s time to let the music talk. And it’ll stand as one of the dnb population’s most lasting conversation for a while.

In the dying light of each day they gathered, the long shadows of the dojo scaffold casting darkness across the solemn faces of the keepers of their art. The eyes of the living only greeted each new day because of the immortal techniques that had now been passed to them, the new guardians of the beacon, masters of an art now evolved – watching, waiting, perfecting their deadly art… ready for the return of those beyond death.

Following up the immensely successful Karate LP from core Eatbrain artist L 33, comes a deadly second approach to some of the most blinding tracks from the album - reimagined by a collection of apex predators in drum & bass. PROLIX delivers an exhilarating and forward-leaning groove with his take on CLUBLIFE, whilst JOE FORD percussive prowess and intricate and on-point production pushes DROP IT DOWN LOW into dynamic and fresh realms. The pathways of Yggdrasil flowed across the vast expanse of the cosmos, reaching to every corner of the universe - interlinking the many realms of their overlords and anchoring Midgard to its fate. The airborne servants of Odin encircled the earth, their ever-watchful synthetic eyes cast down at the servile humans below. So simple, without knowledge of their essential place in the greater sphere – the victims of relentless experimentation as their genes were cast and engineered, their greatest warriors brutally locked with primitive force against one another, as splice after splice refined their innermost nature into a limitless purity of violence. They gave up their eyes in the quest for real vision, gave up their souls to match the black pits of their sockets, twisted and contorted in an endless orgy of bloodshed until only the strongest remained. They who were blind to their humanity, stripped of virtue, naked against the vast heavens above, enshrouded in the entrails of their enemies. In the aftermath of each assault, under the watchful eyes of their offworld shepherds, they gathered their strength again and prepared for the next INVASION.

The DUB ELEMENTS duo return to the expansive EATBRAIN label in force, following up their 2 track pincer movement with ‘POW’ and ‘Shots Fired’ on the Mirror Universe compilation with their first full release - the INVASION EP. With a rich and heavy background in the dark arts of harder drum and bass, the five tracks within are designed with the pure intent of knocking the hell out of the rave. Featuring fellow Spanish producer and Eatbrain alumni KUNG for a sick frenetic beast of a track in SWITCHER, and the emerging capable talents of MANIATICS on the percussion-driven pointed assault of AUTOMATICS - the Invasion EP brings some truly delectable sonic talent to the table. Prepared to have your eardrums thoroughly penetrated by Eatbrain’s latest invasive slice of cutting edge audio, and expect to hear the mighty sounds of Dub Elements throughout the closing raves of Summer.
