this is chapter 5 in a series of mixes called 'trust me i was there' - these tracks were being played in clubs i was going to and on pirate radio in london. clubs like echos by the bow flyover, genesis, sunrise, energy and the first world dance! by '89 i was djing a bit, at house parties and the odd club.
radio wise, centreforce was the big one for me. i think fantasy started in 89 or 90 and that was another good one. back then they only broadcast at weekends, and even then it was on and off - so when they were on you'd grab a tdk d90 for the rest of the week. 
 if i dig out any other 1989 tracks i'll upload em somehow but for now this is the end of my 89 selection.

We love Posthuman here at Data Transmission. From their altruistic exploits on their Acid Relief and Music Sans Frontiers projects to their unique brand of “Slo-Mo Techno, Acid House, Electronica & Chicago Jack;” cousins Rich Bevan and Joshua Doherty have long been able to count us as fans.

Thus you can imagine our excitement when we heard that the duo would be dropping a new release on us for summer 2014 in the shape of the ‘Decompression’ EP on Bodywork complete remixes from sometime Houndstooth/Ninja Tune/Warp artists House of Black Lanterns!

Mit viel Stolz präsentieren wir euch  heute AndiDepressiva, für viele von euch schon lange ein bekanntes Gesicht. Unsere Freundschaft geht schon Jahre zurück und hat angefangen mit seinem Set für unseren Tanzbeamten Podcast. Damals war es uns schon direkt klar, Andi hat genau die gleichen Visionen und Meinungen wie wir. Musik ist viel mehr als nur ein Sound der uns in einen Ritmus bringt.In seinen eigenen Wörter: “ Liebe zur Musik, ist die Droge zur Befreiung des Geistes!“


Jetzt sind wir Jahre weiter und können bestätigen, dass Andi ein echter Influencer ist. Von Amsterdam bis Tsambika Beach, er war schon überall mit seiner Musik. In seiner Heimat ist Andi ein wahrer Pionier. Zusammen mit seiner Crew Klangzirkus und natürlich Gretchen will tanzen läuft immer was. Wir von Tanzamt, hatten schon sehr oft die Ehre mit der Crew zu feiern. Immer wieder waren wir beeindruckt uber die super Organisation ihrer  Veranstaltungen.
