Shortly after the release of the debut album Electric Storm, it was decided that a second album would be also recorded. After some months of recording and production, the album was done and was named Moondance & Dark Lights. On the second album, Draven Project brings a more polished sound and followed the tradition of guitar hooks and bass lines heard on the debut. This time the album sounds more like a complete band, the music is more vivid, the drums are pounding and grooving harder than before. Many influences can be found on the album i.e. music from the 60's and the 70's (The Doors, Deep Purple, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, T. Rex, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, and others), and late 70's/early 80's sounds of Post-Punk/Gothic Rock (The Cult, The Mission UK, Billy Idol, Joy Division, The Sisters Of Mercy), as well as many Southern Rock and Blues' acts. The band also draws influence from the Motown sound of the 70's and its Psychedelic Funk/Soul era. Other influences heard on the album are Danzig, The 69 Eyes, Eric Church, The Rasmus, and HIM. This release depicts the diverse sound of the Draven Project.

Night Drive

Recording and composition process happened between January of 2022 and October of 2023 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. All instruments, compositions and lyrics by Raoni Martins, except lyrics for track 11 which is a collab with Lucas Ajúr. Front Cover's drawing art and design beautifully done by Emilia Oliveira.    The new work from Draven Project showcases a sound that tries to bring a good balance between the influences around the band. The last album's style is more developed here. It's a blend of Rock, Electronic, and Hip Hop. The album is called Cybertronic Dissonance and it contains thirteen tracks. It is divided into two acts. Act I is called The Raven's Nest, which is written and based on real situations and memories. It's about the life journey and trespassing through many issues while trying to be alive and make ends meet. Lyrics are filled with energy and rage against the past years facing music business and life. Every song on Act I is a moment of intense truth. Act II is called The Evil Flock. It's a set of 6 poems written to be songs. Music inspired by the works of Charles Baudelaire, Edgar Allan Poe, and Jim Morrison.  
   
   There is a cyberpunk vibe running throughout the album, like a soundtrack from a dystopic world. The use of synthesizers and keyboards grew more and more on each album. Billy Idol, Depeche Mode and Ministry are for sure references for this release as well. Venus Highway goes right between Idol and Joy Division's sound with symphonic synth rock touches and doses of Brazilian music.

The raven figure on the album is a reference to the graphic novel and movie series The Crow. Therefore, it follows the concept of a raven being the holder of the heart and soul of someone while this person deals with revenging a great loss. The whole album is ambiented in the way the raven is standing on the shoulder of the main character, following his steps. There are many references to the famous black bird on the album. Act I is called The Raven's Nest because it means a relation to being born and alive into this world and having to learn to fly by fear of falling down and ceasing to live. This fear gets the bird into the majestic skill of flying, so it can fly over the land and face the world. While Act II is called The Evil Flock because it relates to the bird in a mature life, corrupted by the evil of the world while struggling to survive every single day.

The Only One

Released before on the previous album, but this time it's a different take, reimagined with a midnight mind feel. Philosophical and spiritual lyrics make way through Hip Hop beats and Post-Punk/New Wave inclinations. The song is called Amaterasu Prayer because the lyrics are like a prayer to the Sun. That is also the original title of the song The Only One.

Lançado antes no álbum anterior, mas desta vez é um take diferente, reimaginado com uma sensação de meia-noite. Letras filosóficas e espirituais abrem caminho através das batidas do Hip Hop e das inclinações pós-punk/new wave. A música se chama Amaterasu Prayer porque a letra é como uma oração ao Sol. Many struggles run through this city, but simultaneously one of the most beautiful tradition of artistic and musical culture diminishes the heavy weight of the world on our shoulders. All the fake people and jealous MF that crossed my path will know who this song is addressed to. There isn't even a single second to be kidding around anymore. (Soteropolitan means a person was born in Salvador)

This track was designed and aimed to have an album opener vibe. Lyrics are deeply plunged in Salvador culture and society in connection with art and music market from abroad. At the same time it contains analogies and references to the video game Chrono Trigger's story. It is a song in memory of Akira Toriyama.

Rock 'N' Roll rooted in music from Salvador. It also has some 70's Rock elements. One of the most beautiful instrumentation on the album. Lyrics are about realizing the place we belong cannot only come by searching it by travelling and experiencing other places.

Opening track filled with energy and rhythm. Song and lyrics ambiented by the album's concept and atmosphere. This track brings out a strong rhythm section attack. There are also elements of music from India and Turkey in this song. Lyrics are an analogy with a sea journey and real life.

This track title comes from a pun on a expression from Salvador (Barril Dobrado) and the double barrel gun reference. It also brings down a heavy percussion instrumentation that showcases well the influence from Salvador's music and culture.

O título desta faixa vem de um trocadilho com uma expressão de Salvador (Barril Dobrado) e a referência à arma de cano duplo. Ele também traz uma instrumentação de percussão pesada que mostra bem a influência da música e da cultura de Salvador.
