Title track 'Cracked Plates' sets the tone with a driving bassline and infectious low-end groove, layered atop intricate percussive elements and an unconventional kick pattern.

In 2016, I was working at an electronics store where this track kept playing. Back then, I was deliberately avoiding pop music — but Sia’s voice cut through everything and stayed with me.

Eight years later, I stumbled upon the acapella and recorded the first demo of this remix that same evening.

This is the first in a series of reworks of tracks that left a mark on me. All of them will be available for free download.
