just stumbled by chance this mix and im really enjoying the energy of it. It reminds me of the brief "electro" scene that hit manchester in 2005 ish but it just faided away after a few years. It was a nice change to hear, especially now in the sun. Noice.

Frantic - Future Sound Of Hard Dance (Disc 2 - Phil Reynolds)

Here's my little old skool techno tribute to the clubnight I near enough grew up in for my early dj'ing days and finally being a resident for 8 odd years. Obviously, this is just scratching the surface regarding the selection of tunes we all played down there. But here's a starter with more on it's way.
And with "Trade 25 The Final" just passing at the weekend (25th Oct 2015), here's a small selection of tunes that some of the Trade Babies went mental over on the dancefloor, mainly played by residents Daz & Trevor & Tony de Vit and over time by myself.
The final Trade event at "The Egg" in London was unbelieveable with many faces from old & new attending including some famous names and dj's from all over the globe.
It's an event which will be talked about for years to come.
I hope you enjoy the mix and try to remember those mental mornings/days down in the depths of Turnmills. It was definitely "FIERCE" and "RULIN'" at TRADE.

Drax Nelson, (real name Paul Norris) hails from South Yorkshire, UK and has been a dedicated purveyor of electronic music since his teens.

Heavily influenced by late 90’s and early 00’s House, Techno, Hard House and anything in between, He has clocked up over 150 releases under various guises over the last 15 years. Releasing on some of the most iconic UK Hard House labels including Tidy Trax, Tripoli Trax, Tinrib, Vicious Circle to name a few, along with his own imprints Flashbite & Slingshot Recordings.

Recently he has turned his production hand to the slower BPM’s under new moniker, ‘Drax Nelson’. Delivering a brand of high energy tough House & Techno.

With recent support from the likes of Gorgon City, Denis Sulta, Hannah Laing, Low Steppa, Meduza, Viviana Casanova and Sarah Story on Radio 1. 
Already notching up a number of releases on various labels including Toolroom, Tidy Trax, Untidy, Vassnova, & Low Ceiling to name a few, with plenty more on the horizon, Drax doesn’t plan to let up anytime soon.
