Hi, so I'm polling modular synthesists inquiring to see if we can develop a genre tag that most of us agree is good...  "modularist"  "wires" "jacknplug" "analog computing"... this is just to get your mind moving... I'll see about starting a thread on muff's... I think knob wiggling and wiggler is a bit too geeked for anyone to really grasp the context or have it carry outwards...  cheers,  A

This is an extract from my "Onkalo EP", now available as a name-your-price download from Bandcamp: drberndthoffmann.bandcamp.com/album/onkalo-ep

The EP is composed of three self-generating works based on (roughly) the same Eurorack modular-synth patch. Minor adjustments were made in between recordings, with little or no intervention during recording. No computers or external sequencers or processors were used, bar some reverb from an Eventide Space guitar pedal.
