DrBolus has been making music with various sound producing objects for many years. Currently he works exclusively on an HTC phone using the Caustic application available here :- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.singlecellsoftware.caustic&hl=en 
It is an interesting way to work, tucked between the spaces of real life, the bus stops, car parks, pubs and supermarkets, using a studio that has more power than he even imagined back in the early 90's when he first put down a guitar and picked up a mouse. Lets be honest, a mid range phone equipped with the superb Caustic App has more power than the live rig of half a dozen outboard bits of gear he used 10 years ago when he played live with The Sultan of Strings.
