Sabaweli

An award nominated artist, producer and singer-songwriter who is known for his fusion of African-Western sounds and pop vocals. Dr Craigaluv, the South African born performer, real name Katlego Mzangwe, is an audience proclaimed prescription specialist through sound, lyrics and dance. He is a versatile creative who never conform to genre specific boundaries and he has a solid foundation from the dance and house music niche.

He boasts an independently released catalog that includes his latest offering titled "Sabaweli" – gaining placement on Bolohouse music blog and also featured on their YouTube channel. The song Sabaweli has recently reached a significant 100K streams on SoundCloud. In April 2020 he released an urban genre single which he named Poison Us – this song was well received by his followers and it gained much appreciation from the Northern Hemisphere. In November 2019, Dr Craigaluv released a 7 tracks EP titled Prescription - 1st Appointment which featured his best selling single Dreaming (My Peace).

In 2019, he was featured on Kaleido 's "Ndim Nawe" from the album Abstract Kollektivez  - this song was later on followed by a visual feature on the music video.

Dr Craigaluv has been prominent with stage appearances at events in the Johannesburg South region and he has also shared a platform with a few mainstream acts including Prince Kaybee, Killer Kau, Tallarsetee, Mthandazo Gatya, DJ Kwame, Kaleido, DJ Mbuso, Nadia Nakai, Touchline, Kamo Mphela, Lebza TheVillain and Toshi .
