We were driving up highway 101 in central California this past Winter and noticed that the landscape was drier and browner than any Summer we'd lived through here. The lack of familiar Winter green shocked us, and we channeled that feeling into our music. "The Well" was born. We're excited to have the beautiful voices of Rising Appalachia singing in sweet harmony with us as we join the tradition of bringing song to a struggle in our community and raising awareness of the seriousness of this drought. 

We'd like to take this opportunity to help bring more thought to water conservation, not only when we're in a drought, but as a daily part of our lives. Water is a precious thing. We can all do our part to change our water-wasting ways and keep the wells from running dry.
