Dr Dangelo has always had an active interest in music – playing bass in bands, recording, mixing and arranging his own compositions as well as those of others and playing DJ sets to audiences as far and wide as Brazil, New Zealand, Cyprus and across Europe and the UK. 

Dr Dangelo started DJing in the late 90s after several years of organizing underground warehouse parties, club nights and private events in and around London and the south east. He was the resident DJ at these events playing an eclectic mix of Deep House, Nu-Jazz grooves and Latin Beats to crowds of between 300 and 2000 partygoers. Since then he has played wide ranging sets of music to audiences at clubs, parties, bars, festivals and events – both corporate and private – worldwide. Dr Dangelo has spent season–long residences in Ayia Napa, Cyprus (Sydney Beach Club) and the Algarve, Portugal (Kiss Club) as well as a long standing residency at Sub Logic in London's West End. Guest appearances have included Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Corsica Studios and Heaven in London as well as many of the capital's well known and upmarket bars and a trio of sets at the Creamfields festival in Hampshire. Dr Dangelo's mixing has also been in demand across Europe including slots at Club Geluk in Antwerp, Belgium, the prestigious Supper Club in Amsterdam, Holland as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event, the Barbizon Palace and The Melkweg also in Amsterdam, the infamous Discount Club in Berlin and the Matrix Club also in Berlin. Dr Dangelo was also invited to play a headline NYE set at the refurbished Civic centre in Auckland, New Zealand as well as a mini – tour to Brazil in conjunction with local DJs, playing at the Bunker and the Fundicao in Rio as well as the Jazzy and the Manga Rosa in Sao Paulo. Dr Dangelo was also invited to play at the worlds largest Dance Music event - the Berlin Love Parade – passing and playing to almost a million people on the streets of Germany's capital, covered extensively by many european TV and radio stations.

As a DJ for corporate events, Dr Dangelo has played at some of the most prestigious 5 star hotels in London including the Dorchester Hotel and The Berkley on Park Lane and The Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge as well as many other functions for clients such as Easy Group and Microsoft among others. Radio experience includes sets for WWFM in London and George FM in Auckland.

Dr Dangelo continues to play a wide variety of music including Deep/Funky House, Chillout/lounge, commercial Dance, Soul & Funk and Retro sounds, now utilising DJ controller and software but still happy to use vinyl/turntables and CDJs whenever requested.
