Dasan has returned. Featuring a new wave of experimental and handcrafted music, Dr. Dasan paves a new path for... you know what, it's not the best album on Earth, but it was fun to make and hopefully those of you who stumble on it will find it as fun to listen to (and... share?) as it was to make. 

Trust Fall uses samples of episode 46 of Dr. Kildare (recorded in 1939, and long since in the public domain), while He Who Bends Time and Space Shall Return Once More uses samples of Thich Nhat Hanh's "Compassion and Suffering". 

I'm currently finishing up an additional track that wasn't ready in time for this release, so keep an eye on this space. Thanks for listening, reading, and being a fan.

Moment Too Soon - Single

This is the final album I'll be making under the name Dr. Dasan. It's been a wild four years, from the second I loaded up GarageBand in high school. This isn't a post-mortem album; I'm not done making music. I'm just moving on to a couple of different names. Look out for Memory Bank and Skylight Syndrome -- that's me. Memory Bank is a collaboration project with my good friend RockDust, while Skylight Syndrome is "the new Dr. Dasan", focusing on progressive pieces (whatever form that may take). 

Alchemy is a collection of "diary" tracks performed with Serum and Ableton's grand piano sounds. The last track is a long-form improvisation using Spitfire Audio's fantastic Soft Piano LAB plugin.

Dr. Dasan was my original name and the one I used for the first four years of my journey. There's some good stuff in here, but the name and history made me reconsider and relaunch under Memory Bank and Skylight Syndrome.
