The long wait is finally over! The collaboration between Techno legend Kai Tracid and exzess label head Patrik Berg is here. We are super happy and honored to have Kai on board, and we think the result speaks for itself.

"Disconnect Me" starts with a heavy bass drum and an extra portion of bass. Sharp hi-hats and distorted percussion grooves the listener to an epochal cinematic break. The distorted lead synth sets scenes by filter and pitch automations almost in the full spectrum and plays question & answer with the stab synth during the hypnotic AI vocal demands to disconnect it. Afterward, the listener is surprised by staccato-like stab that have been cleverly programmed.
In the final break, a wonderful sounding arpeggio comes into play that takes the listener through wild panorama and speed programming that is second to none. Supported by the lead melody and the vocal, the track is on its zenith before all the energy in the drop is discharged with the stabs and heavy bass.

Each of these 3 remixes gives the Dr. Motte & Tom Wax version of "Love Is Stronger" a fresh spin, taking it to new dimensions.

The second interpretation comes from https://soundcloud.com/sylviemiles, who is making big waves in the techno scene. She has already garnered international attention with a notable track in the Rave The Planet Supporter Series and has impressive streaming numbers, including a Spotify Electronic Rising cover. Sylvie's remix is rich with details and references: from the warm sounds of Chicago's garage parties and nods to classic Love Parade anthems to fresh and modern mainroom techno synths and bass. The spoken parts, recorded by Sylvie in a style reminiscent of "Age Of Love" make it even more captivating and hypnotic.

Felix Reichelt drops an intoxicating peak time techno single via his record label, Volume Berlin Records, which has been made in collaboration with Smartsin.

A stalwart of Berlin's underground techno scene, Felix Reichelt has frequented the DJ booth at many of the city's most prestigious nightclubs. His exhilarating style is a hedonistic fusion of hard-hitting drums, powerful synths, and captivating vocal samples. This style is expressed in both his DJ sets and productions. Alongside music released through his own record label, Felix Reichelt has also showcased his talent via other respected outlets including Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain, The YellowHead's Reload, and Simina Grigoriu's Kuukou.

Collaborating on this release, Smartsin is another German artist from Hamburg, and he is back on Volume Berlin Records after contributing a remix to the label in 2024. He has also featured on the likes of Armada, and has an uplifting style that combines driving energy with boisterous personality.

"Ecstasy" is the solo original track on this release, and it opens with a hammering kick drum underlined by a throbbing bassline. Dark atmospherics and tense pads complement a spellbinding vocal about the intoxicating capabilities of music, and the breakdown builds suspense before the percussion slams back in to deliver a peak time moment of heightened intensity.

VOCALIST 

DREA PERLON – a unique voice with a deep-rooted passion for electronic music.

DREA PERLON is a child of the early 1980s. Growing up in a musical environment, because her father, a passionate bass guitarist and singer, recognised and encouraged her interest. He took her to concerts, to the opera and to the theatre.
She listened to music of all kinds from a very early age. 
She got into techno and house through her older sister, whose tapes she secretly listened to. The DJ mixes in the mid and late 1990s were groundbreaking for her and consolidated her enthusiasm for electronic music.
Freely following the motto: „Definition is Limitation“, she skilfully jumps from one genre to another, constantly reinventing herself.
