DreaBaby was born Andrea Danielle Ortiz in New Braunfels. She grew up around music her whole life. From her mother singing, to her dad rocking out, and even having her uncles gather around every now and again and strumming up a tune on their guitars. Shes lived a tough child hood from the gang violence she witnessed across the street, to the drugs and alcohol brought in to her own home. Her parents were married but seperated and she spent time back and forth between home with her dad and home with her mom. Singing since the tender age of 3 she began writing her own music by the age of seven. How can such a young girl have so much to write about... as she got older she began to record and decided at age 15 she was going to start rapping, along with singing. Little did they know she would soon be a deadly combination. She portrays all of her life experiences in her music and gives each song its own meaning. Music is her way of expressing herself and letting go of that which once haunted her. She believes in her quote "as long as even just ONE person out there can relate to one of your songs, you will always have a fan!" She continues her music in hopes of one day pursuing her dreams. She wakes up everyday thanking God for her blessings as well as her struggles for without them she wouldnt be who she is now.
