This song is the first single of my album and it's called The Art of Loneliness. I've been asked what it means, and I reply that I'm a very lonely person- which is something that may surprise some of the people in my life. Even at parties, I feel internally far from the laughter. From a young age (7, 8, 9) I was pretty much left to my own devices, and without many friends. And I adapted around that loneliness. This song is an attempt to say that I've made an art of being lonely - or maybe I am trying to convince myself of that ("solitude, yea, can make my heart break, but gratitude, cuz at least I've got a heart to break."). And I ask the listener, "can you wrap your head around it?"
