In The Still

uncomfortable Silence 
Like a room of stones 
Within it, in its confines, you sit. 
Slowly I try to remove each brick. 
Tediously placed 
we learn trust. 
If only the debris is properly dealt with, disposed of. 

It will not close me in. 

I need no tips from another who failed you. 
Only experience of my own. 
The tenderness the emotions. 
Allow me to feel this battle 
will be worth the energy given, shared. 
I apologize for my rampant desire 
I can withhold and store what of it is unused. 

Cold to the touch, no reaction. 

I am shoved back from those holes I have created 
in those confines. 
As you rebuild the entry made 
I am tripping over the stones thrown from our past 
yours and my own. 
the chaos outside ourselves 
Making it impossible to heal 
each depression, each separate problem 
making hopeless conversations, getting nowhere. 
Cleaning the surfaces will not clean those hand build walls 

or fix them 

Each stain, each intoxicating liquor. 
Say the words please 
Say it and all this can end 
the torture, the pain, if we make you so unhappy 
if it is all to much to take 
Don't strain yourself in pursuit of a mans dream 
When, in fact, is no dream at all. 
Sleeping alone obviously provides you more comfort 
than sleeping between 
a rock and a hard place

Artist of many mediums. Born in Detroit Michigan, USA. Currently in Raleigh, NC. My passion sits between lines of writing & story telling. I devote deep passion toward my poetry and finding the perfect artist to collaborate with. 
My work takes you on a journey; "from horrified to entranced". 

I fill my time wisely with projects.... I make digital shock art, tiny hats, and pretty much any other wayward or DIY project I can dream up. I am a "thrifty-grifter-psychologist" type seeking melodic thrill. 

I both give and demand respect. That's a thing.  I speak most dialects of inner-city wayward folk, relax man, it's music, we can jive if you play fair.
