The relationship we have with our parents is probably the most important one in our life, especially in the early years. It pretty much determines who are and who we're going to become. Often times it is chaotic, complicated and imperfect. Mine was no exception.

I guess I still hold a lot of unconscious resentment against my mother, as I still have those haunting dreams of fighting with her, calling her those awful names, while she's crying and begging me to stop. I hate those dreams. They, of course, only appeal to the ego, and the ego is a fragile little bastard, that I'm constantly trying to silence. This song is yet another attempt to do that, I guess.

I dedicate this to my mom, Irina. She was just a human, trying her best. Doesn't matter if she succeeded or not.

God bless her soul, wherever she is now.

I often have dreams about traveling back in time to the days when I was a kid. Sometimes, I'm aware I'm dreaming, sometimes I'm not. Each time I can remember everything vividly. People's faces, the texture of objects, everything. Sometimes I can even remember toys or clothes I had as a kid, but forgot about in waking life.
The last time I was wondering if I would stay in that dream If I could.
The answer, of course is no. I still have a job to do here - make more music :)))
The past is the past. There's nothing left to gain from it, but inspiration.

As we grow older, our friend circle tends to get smaller and smaller with each year. That's how I feel at least. You rarely call your high school friends, the new relationships you form are not as strong as the old ones and at the end of the day you, you're left with just a couple of people. But these are the ones who count anyway.

Just recently, I had to say goodbye to two people, who I considered really, really close. It wasn't easy, and it wasn't how I wanted it to end. But people tend to be set in their ways, and you can rarely convince someone else that his way leads to nothing more than disaster and self-destruction. So you either hold their hand and you both jump to your death or you run away, because it hurts so freaking much to watch them fall.

Not trying to play the saint or the victim here, not in the slightest. Especially with my personal record. I'm just really starting to think wasting your time and energy is the biggest crime you can commit in this world. And sadly, I've wasted more than enough.

That's it, that's farewell I guess. It's kinda funny. A public goodbye to someone who'll never see it.
Perhaps, it's all directed to a part of myself more than anything else.

Life doesn't always makes sense. At times everything seems pointless, and even being awake feels like a burden. I just want to sleep and leave this.. role that it seems like I'm playing behind. But then I wake up and I remember it's not a role. This is who I am. This is my life, good or bad. And even if sometimes it feels like I'm wearing some kind of veil that prevents me from seeing how beautiful everything is.. I accept that. That's my journey, I suppose. And I'll be damned if I quit midway. Not me. 

This is a track for everyone struggling with depression, anxiety and all that crap. You matter. To me at least. Thank you for being here.

Brutalist Dark Ambient: Deep, unsettling soundscapes for the brave explorer. Think dark, concrete jungles and a hint of unease. I added a couple of heavy thunderstorm recordings to give the atmosphere a complete feel.

In the year far beyond human reckoning, the Earth lay shrouded in a perpetual twilight, an endless expanse of murk and gloom. The sun, a distant memory, was now but a feeble ember in the heavens, scarcely piercing the thick, oppressive fog that clung to the surface. The once vibrant biosphere had long since succumbed to the creeping frost, leaving behind a barren wasteland of ice and shadow.

Beneath this desolate veneer, in the labyrinthine depths of the planet, resided the post-humans. These beings, twisted echoes of their ancestors, had transcended the frailties of flesh and bone, their forms now a synthesis of bioengineering and ancient arcane rites. Their elongated limbs and pallid, featureless faces bespoke of their cold detachment from the mortal coil they had shed eons ago.

In the cryptic catacombs, they slumbered and schemed, seldom venturing to the surface where the cold gnawed at their synthetic skins and the darkness whispered secrets of the void. When they did emerge, it was for purposes unfathomable to the minds of old humanity. They moved with an eerie grace, their presence an affront to the natural order, their eyes—if they could be called such—glowing with an unnatural luminescence that pierced the fog.

Dream Sequencer is an audio-visual project dedicated to exploring themes like dreams, psychology, and altered states of consciousness through the power of sound, particularly dark ambient music. I've done some other, more up-beat stuff in the past though.

My biggest influences for this project are artists like the Nine Inch Nails and Enigma, video games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, psychological thrillers, psychedelic trip reports and many many more. Basically, everything that makes my brain tingle :)))
