As with most tracks in this stream, this also is listed quite erroneously under Dream Testimony. However this is an old track from my industrial band MinorKeY. The title is "Calamity Breathing", and it was recorded entirely in my livingroom (not to the great pleasure of my neighbours).

A sound design project describing a scene from a film or game, where the protagonist descends into a lair using an elevator. When he arrives at sublevel three he is faces with a monstrous machine which he is forced to battle and defeat.

A cover of Echoic Frenzys "It's  Obvious", by Venture Palace. This is a premix version which will be featured on their debut in its full version.

It's Obvious - Pre Mix

Dark, moody and big. Without getting too pretentious. Pretty melodies and a beat which perhaps is more arena rock than electronica. However I can't call it rock (there are no guitars here).

My intention was to involve both hard and software instruments and make a decent mix out of it. I also had to try hooking up my monotribe via cv/gate from my ms-20 and let the two sing duet. All drums are from my old SR-16 except some parallel drums which are software.

An Eerie tale of manipulation and power drenched in guitar distortion and synthetic soundscapes.

Originally it was recorded in summer of 2013 on a laptop.

Something to lighten up the dark season. The reason I made this song was to share the old saying that amidst all adversities of life, there lies a seed of an equal or greater benefit. I actually was facing some challenges both personally and financially by the time I recorded the song, as I was building my home studio. 
Initially I wasn't going to make the track public, as I didn't think it fitted the overall musical profile I wanted to represent. However, the melodies, textures and beats were tasteful IMO. In fact, today I consider the simple message of Dream Testimony being one of the foundations of our overall creative process.

Got inspired by some drama and film score one late night at home watching movies and started tinkering around with this song. This track is a few years old but I opened it up recently and did some tweaks. However, this is still just a rough sketch of something I would like to develop further. Thoughts?

Latenite Session Demo

Had this idea of covering Echoic Frenzy's "It´s Obvious", making it an acoustic/minimalistic version. So I just dug out the jaw harp and started recording. Only a rough demo idea, and the vocals are not always in tune, but hey! Let's have fun right! :D
