This is the Art Song I composed for Professor Jordan Kuspa's composition class. This poem was written by Matthew Arnold, and sung by Brandon Jones. The piano is played by Linda Irwin. Recorded live by Omar Surillo at Richland College, Dallas, TX. 

Lyrics:
Joy comes and goes: hope ebbs and flows,
Like the wave.
Change doth unknit the tranquil strength of men.
Love lends life a little grace,
A few sad smiles: and then.
Both are laid in one cold place,
In the grave.

Dreams dawn and fly: friends smile and die,
Like spring flowers.
Our vaunted life is one long funeral.
Men dig graves, with bitter tears,
For their dead hopes; and all,
Maz’d with doubts, and sick with fears,

We count the hours: these dreams of ours,

Behind That Mountain Lies Our Home - Jorrit Kleijnen

Hello! I'm Curran or "Curry" as some people call me. I'm a Composer and Audio Engineer. The music here is mostly influenced by Southeast Asian folk music, mostly Cambodian (Khmer Oldies), Thai; even Fantasy, Celtic, and Nordic styles. I mix those elements with RPG and MMORPG style tracks, hoping to create a totally different listening experience! As an instrumentalist, I play woodwinds, such as Clarinet, Sax, and even some worldly flutes, like the Celtic Whistle and such. Most of the cartoon/anime art you see here was also illustrated by me, because I am trying to tell a story with what I produce here. A lot of these songs are composed to a comic/manga book project I'm working on. I hope you enjoy listening to my tracks!
