It's with the greatest respect and admiration that I reintroduce you to Whitney Houston's LEGENDARY anthem, "I'm Every Woman", even though...I'm not...a woman.

I've re-imagined this track through the lens of HOUSE MUSIC and more specifically modern day Detroit Techno (as has been re popularized by the phenomenal duo DISCLOSURE).

This came about in a rather unexpected way. 
I had created a couple of four on the floor 8 bar loops with only a kick drum and bouncy harmonic keyboard stab chord progression.
I had it playing as an infinite loop and was walking around the studio when out of nowhere (yes actually) I hear Whitney Houston's topline melody I'm Every Woman accompanying this chord progression...which is completely different than what's going on chord progression wise in the original track.
I think I'll get my pal Kevin to explain how this works from a theory standpoint. Kev, help!
