This was recorded with my phone, not the best quality recording but oh well :)  This was also one of the first takes, it got so much better I wish I had done a finished product recording but this will have to do!! There are two guitarists, my friends Nadia & Ricardo :)I was 17 years old.

The track “Smokin’ Love” opens with swirling piano chords, catchy lyrics highlighting the band’s signature dub sound. The track details multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer Scott Woodruff’s upbeat narrative of wanting to smoke with the one he loves, highlighted in the lyrics:

“I wanna get high, I wanna get low, come on I wanna smoke little spliff with you / Lord knows I’m not a fool, I’m just crazy for you.”

“Smokin’ Love” was recorded the same way as all their songs; in Woodruff’s home studio with each instrument individually recorded and layered in unison to one other. The band has previewed the track through their social media sites and have recently started playing it live.

Bed Stuy, Brooklyn bred MC Siya dropped a dot on our radar over a year ago. We've been itching to collab ever since. And so off we sent a handful of beats and upon her hearing Knight Riderz' big EDM and booty-bass style, she fired back lyrically, and with vigor. 

The 12 bar explosion she returned triggered a ton of ideas between us and Knight Riderz leading to beat revamps, a few rearrangements and re-executed vocals. The more we worked on it, the more the "Show Up" theme seemed to permeate both with in the beat and lyrical content. 

Siya's ending line in the track goes something like, "I got everybody waiting like when is she gonna blow up. And I just pray that everybody show up"! This hits home as each of us continue to navigate our way through the peaks and valleys that encompass this bipolar roller-coaster that is, "the music industry", in the hopes that we can someday reach that metaphorical "blow up" stage and continue to detonate.

Siya is starring in the reality T.V. show "Sisterhood of Hip Hop", produced by T.I., which debuts on the Oxygen Channel in August.  We believe her time to BLOW UP is now.  We hope this track encompasses the tension and subsequent release of said explosion.

DREAMERS founder Ryan Walker, gave his life to music and music gave back. Now touring the world and living the dream as Imagine Dragons keyboardist and guitarist, he hasn’t forgotten his roots. DREAMERS, indie rock sensation formed by Ryan and his best friend Ken, had immediate success at the release of their first single in 2010.  Shortly after, rock and roll came knocking and required the band to be put on hold so Ryan could leave on the tour with Imagine Dragons. It’s rumored that Ryan has over a 1000 songs in his music repertoire since the age of 13.   It didn’t take long for fans to dig deep into the archives to discover the DREAMERS and inspire the bands, long awaited re-launch.  Ryan also splits his time among other side projects hosting both “Pop” and “Electronica” sounds. A special pre-launch track “DIP” by DREAMERS feat. HEYFREAKY! will be made available in connection with the Life is Beautiful festival.
