Good Morning Everyone

This month I had no intention of taking part in the monthly showcase event because I had lots of things going on with other projects. I also did not think that I had any track that could represent me well on the contest. 
Then I remembered there was a track that I wanted to share with everyone. This track here is a result of multiple samples from various people. Most of the samples are from homegrownaudio who had given us some sample packs to tinker with our tracks. He and his community also helped me tone down the vinyl disc scratch effects by proposing I did so or else you would have heard a very different result. Then there's the guitar parts for which I should thank my dear friend and band member, Kaliope. I don't know how to play the guitar so even the tabs I make for the band are always wrong with me writing the tabs for the piano, myself being an accordion graduate. Kaliope would have to put up with me playing the melody on the accordion so that she could understand exactly what I wanted her to play. 
Of course the biggest shoutout goes to Chillhop Music. While I did not use any samples from that community, this is where I made my first steps by showcasing my music and by asking members questions. When I begun I was just a newbie with zero knowledge on any of the programs except from making low quality midi tracks using guitar pro and then amplifying them with external enhancing software plus adding samples or asking others to do things for me. Upon entering the community and asking questions, I learned. I still consider myself a newbie and a learner. And there is lots to learn! I still use guitar pro sometimes and I even experiment with any software advertised on youtube by getting trials which is probably why my salary ends up flying all the time. 
This is not exactly a winter dedicated song but it is a song I had planned for winter. Supermarkets always give me a nostalgic vibe whenever I get into one because they remind me of Fridays when I'd finish school and afterschool studying at the study center (in my country these are private educational facilities where school students read extra to cover for lack of education the free educational system gives so that you won't think that I was attending any physics institution or something). Then my parents would take me to the supermarket so that we'd shop for the week with me usually staying by the videogames spot to play demos and secretly sneak through the corridors to watch the colourfull shelves full of brands and items that looked much more interesting than they do now. Fridays would be when they'd buy me my favourite Friday printed issue of Mickey Mouse and we'd visit grandpa after the supermarket to watch Rex with him while my mum would take care of my grandma and then I'd spend the rest of the night playing videogames. Fridays had a flavor of freedom and were special especially during winter time when I was busy with school.
I'm a grownup now (in fact I'm 30 by the time of uploading this) and lots of things have changed but Fridays keep feeling like this. It's when Friday evening comes that I feel truly free!

Lazy Friday in Mall is the 1st track of my album Supermarket n Chill which marks the first in my "Supermarket Music" series and while it's not story driven like most of my albums it has a very simple concept: It's finally the time you decide to visit the supermarket. Noriko is there, browsing the shelves, as always. You are tired and feel lazy. It's that time of the week again when you feel like the cans of tomato and the juice boxes have more meaning than what's going on outside of the four walls dictating the limits of the supermarket. It's the time of the week that you feel like time has stopped existing and you can move endlessly in the corridors like a spirit.
