alpha orionis tells a story of certain character from dreaming plushie’s favorite series: Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. Namely, Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti, Sin Archbishop of Sloth. Don't worry, it's vague to keep it spoiler free. Demo version of the track was available everywhere for quite some time, until she decided to take it down and rebuild it from scratch. From zero.

“i know hell” is the first EP of Poland-based producer Laura Stypuła releasing music under the moniker dreaming plushie and as ½ of duo projects phoebes :: inclusions and witch tea.

this iteration of the project is the result of a careful remastering and scrapping off/remixing of some older versions of the songs. At first, it was a 12 track album released on March 26, 2021, now it is a 5 track EP.

s always a mess, but this chaos of life can sometimes be beautiful. With her second solo album “Memories that Never Were”, dreaming plushie deals with pent up feelings of profound loneliness, yearning for affection, grief, lost love, unrequited crushes. “Memories that Never Were” is about depression, transitioning, changing, maturing. Being older than before, yet feeling younger than ever, like a teenage girl lost in a world that is almost completely new to her, even hostile towards her. Grieving the memories that never were. Wanting to experience the lost girlhood as someone who started her transition at 26.But it’s also about sharing happiness and support in the time of need, and of course: friendship. On some level this is a deeply personal record.

These are 11 songs that are heavily inspired by hardcore, trans twitter breakcore scene and trans twitter music scene in general. Songs to dance to and to cry to. Songs to experience whatever you want to experience while listening to them.

An almost immediate follow-up to her previous album, dreaming plushie’s “puppyfication_process_loading” deals with themes of yearning, patterns repeating over and over again, withstanding chaos, and taking pride in one’s identity. There’s definitely joy to it. So much joy when you stop being afraid and start being unapologetically you. Ooo and trains. There are trains and furry friends.
