For a couple of years I have had a line of work open that is the composition of piano pieces whose harmony is based on the "Tonnetz". The one I'm publishing here is the third one that I compose (the other two are "Parsimonious Trichords" and "Walking by four-note chords") and there would still be a fourth to finish this chapter and that I think I will compose soon.

70.1 . - Running - State Zero

With the poem “Liberté” by Paul Eluard (1917-1952), recited by himself.
Inspired by the french silent film "L'inhumaine" (The unhuman woman, 1924). 
Other spoken words in french are screen text from that movie.

J'écris ton nom

Imagine the power of the sea beneath you as you glide effortlessly over the pulsating ocean. The freedom of the air as the huge bird soars over the crests of ocean swell. Then with a few beats of its wings it flies off out of view.

In this music, I once again tried to connect the soft sound of the piano with the hard sound of the bass guitar, where the beats dominate.
